Personally, my favourite Mario Party was the DS game, the maps were by far the best IMO. I really enjoyed the huge maps with a lot of interactive parts that are thematic

You guys gotta play the new Mario party it's way better this one is much more kid friendly in the sense that it's much easier and the maps r very small and less complicated but I also wanna see u guys do some mario kart especially with the dlc around the corner!! Love u guys

OMG, I WAS JUST THINKING HOW FUNNY IT WOULD BE FOR TEO AND THE GANG TO PLAY THIS. I SWEAR NOT EVEN A WEEK AGO Gonna be honest. The first 20 minutes was fun. But then it didnt get so fun to watch. Pummel party is much more entertaining imo

Take a break from Elden ring and watch some Mario party. Sounds like a good idea!

Why is Superstars better than this one? 1) Pro controller support 2) Better online (If someone crashes the board progress will be saved and they can rejoin, UNLIKE this game where disconnect means restarting the whole game) 3) More minigames and better minigames, plus you have a choice on what type of minigames to allow (you can choose a minigame pack to focus more on skill-based minigames) 4) You get to choose 3 non-random bonus stars, you can also chose no bonus stars. I saw Teo complaining that this game only has 2 bonus stars. 5) More maps, and each map is bigger and more strategic. 6) Characters are more balanced, no character dice metas. Allies are fun until you realize just how much they break the balance of the game. 7) Economy is more balanced, since you aren't as bloated with cash your performance in minigames matters more, making the game overall less at the mercy of whole rolls higher. 8) Quality of life / pacing. Superstars is slightly faster each turn, meaning games won't drag on as long. More options in general. The only con in my opinion is that Superstars has a small character roster. That said Superstars could be WAY better than it is currently, Nintendo always misses out on potential. Still not enough maps, still not brutal enough, still not enough options, it could still be faster and less dragged out etc. But Superstars is one of the best Mario Party games, and Super Mario Party is almost a direct downgrade unless you REALLY like the poorly balanced character dice and ally gimmick. This game might also be a little more noob friendly, but as you learn this game you will realize you desire more strategic choice and less generous balance. That said the difference between the games isn't super drastic and you might as well get your moneys worth on this one before moving to Superstars. If Alex is having no fun in this one, I doubt the change to Superstars would be enough to get her on board. Super Mario Party isn't the worst, it's a lot better than Mario Party 10 and 9, but it's just a lesser game.

1:00 I think it’s because it has mini games specifically designed around the joycon. Your first mistake was buying Super mario party and not mario party Superstars, which is a collection of old Mario party maps and modes. It’s much better IMO. Don’t know if you read comments, but superstars is better because the minigames are better, and the maps are a bit larger. Also the consequences for landing on a bad space are worse (which is good… you know what I mean). “Lose a Star” I believe you guys called this out several times but it never showed up, well, it shows up in superstars. If you happen to read this comment, and you happen to play superstars, my favorite map is Space Land.
