Super Great video! How often should those blue felt disc be replaced? Are the top and the bottom ones the same size?

Better replace them every two years. Clean them at least every 3 months.

Good video. I have a question. I have 6 needle Baby lock bmp9 and it constantly tells me to check upper or bobbin thread. I checked million times and there’s appears to be nothing wrong. The thread is going through all the slots correctly it’s not tangled, but sometimes the needle and upper thread will not pick up the bobbin thread I have no idea what can cause that? what do you think?

An easy way to avoid the old model machine tension setting range getting smaller is to replace the tension sprints and tension felts. Instead of spending a long time trying to find out the problem. The old model machine tension springs are weak and adjustable working range is not the same as the brand new one. Even though they still can work on some needles but on the sensitive needles the sensor will keep getting the error signal. Also, check the rubber O-rings, they will go bad after a couple of years depending on the combined adverse effects of several environmental factors. Replace all those small parts for the old model machine then check the tension again you will find out the tension adjustment getting much easier than before.

@Elreypachuco The 6 needles machine O-rings are located on the threading path #2 and #3 before the tension disc. PRS100 doesn't have an O-ring.
