    its simple hes the one playing the shot and should be able to play it in his own time whilst feeling comfortable if he wants to wait until everyone has sat down and closed their gobs thats up to him. The referee probably hasn't had this experience before and probably thought right Ronnie do you wanna just get on with it now.

  • @hudgensons
    @hudgensons15 күн бұрын

    Referee just told the crowd to settle down and kept returning to Ronnie urging him to play on. And Ronnie was totally right to just sit and wait it out until the crowd stops moving in his eyesight. The ref should have been more firm and controlling. We've seen referees ordering people to be escorted out of the arena, getting involved in pointing out who is causing the trouble. Now a simple "Settle down now please!" just wasn't enough, rushing player back to play when there's crowd moving with their sandwiches and cups right in front of the player is just not enough. That's not Ronnie acting disrespectful, that's referee not doing enough of a job in sorting this situation. Sorry Desi but do a better job next time. This is World Championship for snooker players, for referees, for the crowd. Every participating party must act to a higher standard.

    The O'Sullivan fans flock to his aid. The referee was the most chill person in that room. Vintage O'Sullivan behaviour when things are not going his way. The referee stated "We might wait 20 minutes you know", if you took the time to listen to it rather than assume she said we can't wait. The arrivals on the other table should have been handled appropriately by the officials on the opposite table. Ronnie lost this for himself this year, he didn't have what it takes. She has never played in a high stakes snooker match , the world championships . She should have said Ronnie take as long as you need why we sort this mess out , not putting the whole situation on Ronnie, then making out his being awkward . That is exactly what she done , who does she think she is ? Seriously its not her playing , it's not her career it's not her snooker match , her job is to keep people quite and keep people in there seats. And also do the right thing 👌 She handled it in an unprofessional manner she had zero respect for the player so Ronnie told her to chill out. Treat people how they treat you .

Miserable in action, miserable off the table, miserable getting to and from The Crucible. When's he's asked a question he twists his face around, prods his teeth with his tongue, widens his eyes as if to try and 'wake up'...like he's not got time for questions, people or thinking up what to say....and as we see here, he has issues with situations where he has to compromise or accept something he doesn't like. Particularly from 'authority'. Grow up, mate. Greatest ever. But I'm sick of him of being a immature pr**k. It's gone on for flipping decades now.

    This is in the paper! Saying Ronnie let himself down. & was rude & condescending & bordering on being aggressive! & was told to grow up! like seriously, how is Ronnie in the wrong here? He's the player! Not the ref! She was trying to rush him back to the table! He'll go back in his own time when he thinks he's settled! He's the star here! Not this ref. He's playing for massive money in the biggest tournament on earth. & she's trying to tell him what to do. When to get up & play! I call bad ref. She was wrong. I also agree with ronnie on the re spotted black moment. If he wanted it re spotted ten times because it was Rolling! Once again. Ronnie was in his right to do so.

    He has acted considerably more aggressively with male referees, including at the world final two years ago. So it's not about that. What he was actually looking for was some weakness in Bingham to be able to exploit by introducing a bit of chaos into the situation, but this is why Bingham can be such a tough opponent for him, as he is totally unruffled by that sort of thing.
