Deep in the castle and back from the wars Back with my baby and the fire burned tall "Hoorah", went the men down below All outside was the rain and snow Hear their shouts, hear their roar They've probably all had a barrel or much, much more Hoorah, hoorah, hoorah, yeah Over the hill with the swords of a thousand men We had to meet the enemy a mile away Thunder in the air and the skies turned gray Assemblin' the knights and their swords were sharp There was hope in our English hearts Hear our roar, hear our sound We're gonna fight until we have won this town Hoorah, hoorah, hoorah, yeah Over the hill with the swords of a thousand men The knights come along at the end of the day Some were half-alive and some had run away Hear our triumph, in our roar We're gonna drink a barrel or much, much more Hoorah, hoorah, hoorah, yeah Over the hill with the swords of a thousand men Hoorah, hoorah, hoorah, yeah Hoorah, hoorah, hoorah, yeah, yeah Hoorah, hoorah, hoorah, yeah Hoorah, hoorah, hoorah, yeah, yeah Hoorah, hoorah, hoorah, yeah Hoorah, hoorah, hoorah, yeah, yeah Hoorah, hoorah, hoorah, yeah Hoorah, hoorah, hoorah, yeah, yeah

Those guitars are makingngreat sounds not to be plugged in. Haha also the drummer is doing good on a drum kit but there's not one there. Hated there was so much lip syncing.... Haha...they forgot to tk the horses out at the beginning. Its not supposed to look like your lip syncing. But most of the bands that did the show had to lip sync but they always carried a diff recording with them to lip sync to on shows. It was made to sound diff and live. Haha...here they just played the actual song with the horses. Idc though because these guys are BAD ASS! I was a kid in the 80s but I was a metal head and I didn't hear this song or band back then here in America. Truth be told I didnt find them until about 5 or 6 yrs ago. I came across the video for this song and I was hooked! It was great seeing he still goes around doing this song. Guess he's the only original member then?

Come on guys, TPT were New-Wave-Rock, in the same category as Adam and the ants. Boy could we do with a revival of this superb genre. Love this song
Hearing this on the current Haven adverts cheers me up.
Class👌👌👌👏👏👏
Everybody's having a good time. That's the power of music
Saw them plymouth top rank club. Bouncers had their hands full lots of scuffles. The place went nuts when Wunderba came on.

'Wheres the Bar' as I remember it last time I saw Tadpole, Another great tune.
Absolute barnstormer of a song.
Should be the national anthem.
I'm Pirate Captain and I'm here for ya gold!
'The knights come along at the end of de day' #topclasslyrics

Watching this video, you're not the only one !!!!
Sacrilegious as it may seem if you were able to get Tenpole and his songs plus Rich Kids and Professionals tunes I hear Pistols Mk 2...shame that didnt go on. Release that in early 1980 and the Swindle continues
This is why England never loses any fight she gets herself into!
Wow I forgot how much I love this tune XX mind you he doesn't look well though ,,,,,,, does he ??

We need an anglo-celt on the throne, not a germano-norman.

Saw him on his Russian/polish what the fuck ever bike he was riding in soho back in the 80's
Barnstormer ! 🇬🇧
This should be sang at England 🏴 football matches instead of the national anthem
Still 2021

80s say no more.😊
What a stomper.
To the person who sent the message to me. Saying temple Tudor were not punks. If you look the band up on Wikipedia. You'll see it says they are punk and new wave. Thankyou.

Can't believe this was out 42 years ago & it still sounds current , bring it on for Ukraine I say 🇺🇦
Great tune,...I loved Top of the Pops as a kid, but looking at it now. I think it's shit that they made bands mime to their songs.
