You actually can't ash blossom the red tenpai since the effect to summon happens in damage step lol

In game 3 Soprano shouldn't have died to Ghost Ogre because Elegy was up, preventing Melodious monsters from being destroyed by effects.

I've literally stopped playing and just looked at my opponent when they do the annoying constant hand shuffling and I'll slow play as long as they do it, everyone who does this please stop it's just annoying

can't ash on red one in damage step, like unchained stuff ecc...

I just beat a Tenpai deck, going through 3 handtraps round 1 and winning, then 2 handtraps and Nib Round 2 and still winning. Aria is BUSTED. This guy doesn't know how to play Melodious.

It was day 1 of the new set 💀chill missplays happen at every locals as well as learning happy for your success!

my few thoughts on playing Melodious against Tenpai: - don't bounce field spell until it actually activates the effect - also wait for the normal summon - imo the best time to use Etoile is at the start of the battle phase to bounce whatever they have - Aria is crucial here, also put all your monsters in defense as there is no real reason for them to be in attack (that way you also play around Lightning Storm). Tenpais can't kill you through Aria and full def board unless they make Transcendent Dragion come back from GY to remove Aria and swing other monsters with Trident Dragion (and even then I'm not sure it's enough) Melodious seems like it has quite a good matchup against Tenpai but you need to know how Tenpais work to utilize the advantage

Melodious has an amazing match up against tenpai, later on this week you’ll see a duel where they get destroyed by melodious cause I had more practice with the deck and was able to set up the whole aria/elegy lock I think the deck is amazing this format and I’m excited to play more of it!

Anything that negate activation not just the effect like Ash does.

@@deyvisstiller4065 Apollousa negate just the effect no the activation. Stuff like Barrones, Borreload Savage Dragon or even Invoked Mechaba because he nagated the activation of the monster. Droplet can be activated but is not because you can negated the monster. Is because of the atk reduction, otherwise it will be the same as Apo just the effect not the activation.

You can't crossout at any point of the dmg step.
