    I got an afro too which can look like Dayday's hair when blow dried. Looks awesome, but can be a real pain when the hair keeps on covering the eye...

    oooooo yesssssss!! I use the term "kinetic chain" a lot when I'm helping out some fellow recreational players that ask me how to play better. They just don't see it as body mechanics, they see the results in speed and control, which can never reverse-engineer without the body mechanics perspective. You guys always nail the core principals of what is it that you want to teach, and I really get excited with every new video. And kudos for the energy level of presentation, the arm waving and stuff lol Keep it up!

    Exactly acikacika! The forehand is really complex when you look past the basics and explaining the biomechanics in an understandable way is a challenge. That's the biggest improvement we've tried to make in our upcoming videos. Thanks for watching!

    Terrific videos I only just started watching your channel. Since you asked what I'd like to see, I'm a player with a good one-handed backhand, I would like to switch to a two-hander, they look easier redirecting and disguise. I just field blocked with top both hands on racket, and only able to generate a fraction of the racket speed of my one hander. Can you do a video for one handers to switch, addressing the blocked feeling, hopefully with drills to facilitate a freer faster racket when both hands are on? Thanks in advance

    You guys are hands down the best tennis coaching on KZread! One thing I have found that accelerates speed of the racquet is to have a long looping swing with a outstreched arm, that is drawn in shorter as I contact the ball......you are effectively shortening the radius of the "weight on a string", and as you know that radically increases rotation speed right into the ball...SMACK. God I love tennis, its like a violent sword fight without the contact and blood.

    Question about the forehand unit turn guys. Is there a certain kind of forearm pronation in order to point the face of the racquet towards the side fence?

  • @RacquetFlex

    @RacquetFlex

    5 жыл бұрын

    Great question ! The orientation of the racquet face during the unit turn is largely a result of your elbow positioning, which ideally you want elevated away from the body. There are specific idiosyncrasies among players regarding this elbow positioning. How it affects your racquet during the acceleration phase is covered in the free masterclass linked above☝️☝️ Does that help?🏆

    @@RacquetFlex Thanks a lot and fantastic job with your videos. I' ve registered for the masterclass and look forward to it. Actually putting that elbow away from the body, naturally makes my forearm turning a little (pronation). I'm not sure if it's just me or it's a common thing. nobody really speaks about that
