You did a great job bro… but trust me … Nico or Tennessee are not showing what they can really do & will do on offense 🤫

It looked like it
We held a ton of starters out. This team will look completely different in the season opener.
most of our starting offensive line was out
Yes, Campbell is our starting Right Tackle.
Spillman the freshman LB was everywhere. Loved to see that. Mike Mathews had a great catch and some really good blocks. One that scored. There were so many starters out and the offense didnt show much. Looked like a typical scripted spring game! Maybe we should of just had a dunk contest and a hot dog eating competition?? GBO!

Been looking forward to this one. Game was garbage but your film breakdowns are always great

Thank you! So good to see you again. What was your biggest concern?
@GrannySingaporePVP

@@powerhoursec my biggest concern hasn’t changed since last season. The secondary needs to show improvement over the last few seasons imo. Also, pass protect last year wasn’t the best. Our OL was fantastic blocking the run but they seemed to get beat more than they should’ve during pass pro
Great evaluation, we didn’t have out starting LG or center in. Also, RT is moving over from left side. Probably still getting used to it.

He used to get beat most of the time on the left side last season 🤷🏽♂️. I hope the 2s at tackle get in the weight room this summer & get right b/c our OL has been average.

@powerhoursec I believe he will be good like somewhere around Darnell Wright was in his sophomore season. Maybe Special next season tho. #GOVOLS

@powerhoursec absolutely I think he is a monster he gives me Trey Smith vibes just a dominant big man
Go big 🍊🧡 we will see all you doubters this fall , truth 💯
Center and RG are injured or were held out. LG is a position battle atm. squirrel white didn’t go for obvious reasons. Heupel hates the spring game for multiple reasons and I can’t blame him, so he keeps it vanilla. Drive #2. It wasn’t Pearce, but Caleb Herring, probably another stud The “smaller-backer” is Bryson Eason. Converted LB to DT. When he’s on. Probably our best DT

Eason is nowhere near as good as Big O yet. Maybe down the line, but right now Big O is our anchor.

Big O is that guy, but the fact that we’re talking about some very good defensive tackles on our team, and we’re not in agreement on who’s the best, that says a lot about how crazy deep our defensive line is. Dooley once called our defensive tackles a bag of potatoes.

@@dee-taylor VolQuest says it’s Eason who has had his best spring ever, and Omar Norman-Lott as our best DTs
I'm excited about the in helmet coms having a great qb like huepal in the ear of Nicole we should have one of the biggest advantages of in helmet coms in the league
Nice review! OL was basically all 2nd and 3rd string against a very deep DL. Also not sure what the instructions to Nico were. I don't think they wanted him running at all. I also think he may have been told to target certain WRs for training and evaluation reasons. Some questionable reads that he doesn't usually make lead me to that conclusion. Regardless, it's nice training film for the summer.
Nice work, Carter. Thank you, sir.

RT is concerning a little, confident in all other positions on the Oline, at least it isnt Nicos blindspot, also credit to TNs Dline, its really good. One of the best theyll play all year, iron sharpens iron. Theres a bunch of talent with this Vol team
@cameront222

Also have injuries on the Oline, health is a concern, if these guys can stay healthy, TN will be damn good
It might be a benefit to know who is actually playing before doing film breakdown. Pretty good besides that.

When you cover ever team in this league + it's a spring game breakdown with a ton of backups, it takes a long time to know everyone lol. Plus, you reach a wider audience just saying numbers and positions
Green.
Alot of people don't realize how deep and good tennessees front 7 is they could have 1 of the best if not the best d line in the country.i think this offense won't be as explosive as 2022 but pretty close to it.thanks for the vids.GO VOLS!!!!

He did not struggle

I’m trying to see where he struggled too and I just cant seem to find it….. I know they aren’t opening up the playbook at all and just running a normal pace. Every other school spring game they are going guns a blazing and running full playbook seems like….

Mostly backups on offensive line. Other than the left side

@@powerhoursec Mike Matthews was nice. Gonna be a dog and probably will get a decent amount of playing time his freshman year. He’s one of those guys that’s too good to keep off the field in my opinion. Chris Brazzel looks like an upgrade from last year. Our DL is deep and you can see it. Offense had a tough time on the ground which is good news. I expect our sophomore CB to be really good as well.
