@ 2:38 such a beautiful throw I’ve been blown away watching Hendon Hooker this year. But I wouldn’t say I’ve been surprised. It was all there on last year’s tape and it’s just become that much more refined. What’s really impressive to me though, maybe even more than the physical traits, which are NFL-legit in a number of areas (arm strength, deep ball accuracy, mobility), are the intangibles. This guy is an unbelievable competitor and leader. Listen to his interview with Paul Feinbaum from a couple weeks ago. The maturity, the work ethic, the accountability, the intelligence…I was just blown away listening to it. He’s got things he needs to work (short and intermediate accuracy) and there are questions about how his success in this offense will translate to a pro style offense, but if we’re really gonna bet on traits - especially at that position - then we need to fully take into account the traits from the neck up too, and I think this guy absolutely has it. Big game coming up (‘Bama), so we’ll see. But if he performs in that one I see no reason at all why can’t be a first round pick. Yeah he’s older, but at that position that might actually be an advantage, and quarterbacks, with the way they’re protected nowadays, generally can play a lot longer than, say, an edge rusher. I’m not concerned about the age when looked at in the context of the total picture. Love this kid.

There's no equivalent in Madden. Look up Baylor's offense circa 2011-2015. Huge wr splits outside hashes, deep routes with fast wr's, and hurry up no huddle tempo.

@@kadencaldwell Basically. The wr's are split wide to force the defense to choose what to stop: run or pass.
