Steve Valiquette has to be one of the smartest guys around the game today. He runs an analytics company Clear Sight Analytics and he is truly brilliant running that company and doing studio work for the Rangers. His concept of “Royal Road” and how goals are created is comparable to what Bill James did for baseball.

Raycroft has been on here a few times. I think he was most recently on JD’s show a week ago. Maybe he had schedule conflicts for K&B.

Easy for Sway to look like the better goalie if the Leafs are unable to create grade-A shooting attempts. So I'm not buying any of this. Everyone with eyes could see that Sammy played incredible since December, no goal in this series was his fault, Leafs didn't get goalied, they just didn't even test Swayman. Yes fans should get behind Woll too, because he's great and he's a Leaf, that should be enough for all the Leafs goalies, no need to make up shady self claimed "analytics". Get behind your goalies, end of story. That should go without saying.

We all knew the rags would sweep. The caps did make the playoff congratulations to them but it was more at fault of the the two other “better” teams in the wings and penguins being a little to late…the way both team were playing the last month of the season they take the rangers to 6, meanwhile they got a first round bye

Yeah everyone knew the caps were the worst playoff team ever Like they got so insanely lucky to be in -37 🧹 i went into that saying the rangers dare not drop a SINGLE GAME to THAT capitals team and they didnt First rangers team to take care of business in a series less than 6 since 2015 ffs finally have that elite PP unit to shut the door
