The level of finishing on my Maen Hudson 38 Mk4 is also outstanding! This brand is doing some fine work.

Excellent video again. Thank you. Interestingly up until recently I’ve been a bracelet only guy. Now I’m pretty much anything but bracelet. The addition of a NATO/rubber/ sailcloth/ leather can really change a watch. I’m now back in love with watches I haven’t worn in an age.

you forgot Unimatic ..easily tops most of those 500-600€ for the watch on nato and rubber strap.. +200€ for a solide steal oyster strap with the weight of 200 gramm.. making the watch feel like a rolex submariner on the wrist

I'm a little annoyed at myself that I forgot Lorier from the US list I put together, given my love of the BB54, I do rate the Neptune. I also think the Zephyr would be a really interesting piece if it were a little cheaper. Where it sits you can get a few vintage pieces with a similar style though. I came close to buying a Direnzo Mondial purple when they launched but I'm not a fan of the handset so ended up deciding against it.

As much as I, to put it diplomatically, am not a fan of Hublot, the screws around the edge are exactly that - screws. It is so impractical to make screws line up consistently, no maker does it (not even AP on the Royal Oak - those are bolts). Got nervous CW wouldn't feature!

Partiendo de la base de que en todos los TOPs siempre va a quedar alguno sin nombrar, para mi hay una marca imprescindible que debería estar aqui, sin lugar a dudas uno de los relojes mas finamente acabados que vas a encontrar en este rango, es un Orient Star, por ejemplo el modelo RE-AU0006S00B (+-500€) incluso los modelos Heritage de Orient Star son supremos en cuanto a acabados y buena construcción. Si hablamos de precio Orient Star sigue poniendo el listón muy alto en relación calidad/precio (no oficial)

Could maybe squeak a second hand or discounted model just under 1k on a bracelet. Given my love of smaller watches if I had a pick from Mido it would be the OCEAN STAR 36.5. It's like a better looking, better proportioned 50 fathoms.

I have a watch collection made up of predominantly SanMartin watches. I have sold of many of the other brands, including Swiss. I wonder why..

Yeah I have to say when I see naysayers on San Martin I do wonder if they've ever had one in hand. They're so good for the price it's a joke. I'm secretly hoping they bring out something verging on high-horology. Something like CW have done with the Bel Canto but more accessible. I can dream ^^.

I think the cheapest 556 comes in at something like 996 dollars so it could have featured, but while I'm not saying the finishing is bad, it's certainly not, there's not much variety going on to stand out in a list like this. It's very matte if that makes sense.
