It is nicer when the description of the video has the list of the games mentioned from the video, even better, with time stamps. So you can easily reference back once you are done instead of having to scroll through the video to find the games again, or if you just want to copy paste the list into a document for later usage.

Yes, this list is very good! Genuinely never heard of any of these. A lot of other hidden gem lists have the exact same titles in them. I used to wonder if they really were that hidden.. I'm gonna check some of these out!

“MegaMan ZX” was my favorite DS game and sub series from the MegaMan franchise. Much like “MegaMan Legends”, “MegaMan ZX” and “MegaMan ZX Advent” were the most underrated MegaMan games they’re so good.

Ghost trick detective is another great game that's underrated

Fantastic list, I actually never heard of some of theses titles. Rondo of Swords sounds like a really interesting title even if it's not groundbreaking

Great video, but there's need to say that "Aliens Infestation" was developed by Wayforward technologies, not by Gearbox.

That Video Games Show - I kinda knew you did, but with so many KZreadrs I follow, it is hard to remember who covered what. If I remember correctly, you have done one for the Nintendo 3DS. Here’s another idea, maybe do a video on games that probably should not have been possible, but became a reality due to developer dedication. Some examples are; Shantae for the Game Boy Color, Resident Evil 2 and Conker’s Bad Fur Day on the Nintendo 64, and The Witcher 3 and Doom for the Nintendo Switch.

8:34 That may mainly be due to the light blue hearts, but Monster Tale's visual style reminds me a lot of Bomb Chicken. I think the game would have greatly benefited from any other title. I mean "Monster Tale", really? That's like calling a Volcano "Fire Mountain".

knights in the knightmare's graphics remind me of yggdra union on gba. oh how i wish other games like that were made.

Little Red Riding hoods Zombie BBQ - top tip for that, if you don't have £100+ to throw at it - it's on the Nintendo store under DSi games and can be bought cheap. A lot of Atlus titles - well trodden path at this point in hidden gem videos. 2,000+ games - i think we can still find and name a lot of great game's that haven't had the love they deserve and can be bought cheap - there issrill gold down there amongst all that shovel ware!

The DS version of Crash of the Titans. Trust me.

I actually have drum tactics toys, they're the same beetles, but whith wheels and you pull them back and then let them go fight each other.

Big Bang Mini is such a hidden gem it didn't even make it into the list of hidden gems. It's insanely unique and amazing. Otherwise, this is an interesting list of games.

I want to pick up some of these but they aren’t exactly easy to find often unless at least for some of them, you have to pay a bit more to get them since people are realizing they are good driving up the price. So I’ll pick them up eventually 😂

Knights in the Nightmare is the best game I have ever played.

I never thought that a Final Fantasy game would end up on this list since it is a extremely loved video game franchise, but I guess every franchise has that one game that people never heard of, or they thought it was going to be crappy! 🤔🤷‍♀️

That Video Games Show I actually still need to play a whole lot of Final Fantasy games I've only played some of Final Fantasy 10, I've played and got sick of Final Fantasy 13, and I've played Final Fantasy 14, but of course I haven't finished it yet, but I guess that's alright! 🤷‍♀️

I got my copy, along with many games in this guys DS video series, when they were in the discount racks. Zombie BBQ and Avalon Code were 10$ in Walmart, Monster Tale was 5$ at 5below and Goodwill stores got stacks of unsold, still-sealed surplus copies of Aliens Infestation that they sold for 5-10$.

nice list, sucks that a lot of these games are $100+ now :/

The real problem of FF RoF is bad AI and the campaign basically pick a character and the rest is a dead weight and you are responsible for their life. Although the campaign story is really good and the characters are memorable, you gotta need to bear with the AI. But in FF EoT, if you bring your friends to play Co-op, the entire campaign can be enjoyable.

Front mission is not the ps1 version but the super nintendo version.

Ffs €110 for a front mission cartridge......

My biggest problem with DS games (and 3ds games as well) is the 3d graphics. I just can't stand those kind of graphics. I prefer 2d graphics all the way. See Drone Tactics. I love the Advance Wars type of gameplay, and graphics on the bottom screen. But the 3d battle graphics look hideous to me. COuld have been a perfect game.

Lots of 2d games on both, but honestly the 3d games look good on 3ds. 3d on DS is rough but gameplay and sound can make up for it imo.
