So M.Utd are going to fire the manager and there is still no plan in place, or at least the people who should be responsible for making that plan and executing it aren't here yet. The problem with Man U is they've needed a complete clear out and rebuild for 5-10 years and they've still not done it after what 5 managers. Every time the new manager comes in they seem to keep most of the squad.. is this because they simply can't get rid of them or is it because they're failing at building their squad? Or is it because the board is pulling the strings and saying "we won't get rid of X player because we paid a lot for them and won't be able to recoup"?

Why would you want to keep Ten Hag? Chelsea finished above us and qualified for the Europa League but Pochettino still got sacked. Ten Had had a terrible second season and better managers are available. Ineos was always gonna bring their own guy who fits their vision. Ten Hag’s job this season just made their decision easier.
