It's undeniably challenging to assert that whether facing injuries or not, losing at home is unacceptable. I doubt any manager in the league has faced such significant changes in their defense lineup. Pep Guardiola, for instance, endured a tough spell when Rodri was sidelined, enduring four to five winless matches despite having substitutes like Nunez and Kovacic. None of the Manchester United players currently possess that caliber. When it comes to young players, it's rare to see a seasoned manager thrust them into such high-pressure scenarios, risking defeat as their initiation into professional football. While I concur with Eriksen's observation about our team lacking energy, we must acknowledge the limitations of our current squad. Bringing back Jose Mourinho or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would likely be a grave error; both seem outdated in their approaches. Among the available managers, only Nagelsmann and Amorium seem suitable, but transitioning to their systems would necessitate significant time and adjustment. Instead, Erik ten Hag should persist in rebuilding or at least laying a solid foundation. I'm not blind to Erik's errors, past or present. Yes, he's had his missteps, but the persistent injuries and the capabilities of our players must factor into our assessment. Personally, even if we finish as low as eighth, tenth, or eleventh and even if we lose the FA Cup final, I'd advocate for retaining him for the next season. Let's see what he can achieve with an improved squad. If there's no discernible progress, then we can reassess, but not at this juncture, certainly not.

Can we at least agree that ten Hag has had the shittiest set of off field issues? That nobody else managing us since Sir Alex has had as many? A lot of those are because of circumstances beyond his control. The most important point here, is that he got us 3rd place, one trophy and another cup final in 2022-23 after our worst ever points tally in 2021-22. The football we played under him, especially after the WC in Qatar was really good. We created chances for fun, our defence was very good with the ball and Rashford hit his best ever form statistically. So I refuse to believe that anyone who has delivered that turns into shit overnight.

Heads up for a whole rant coming up! Things that Ten Hag needs to be blamed for: 1. Poor substitutions (Taking off Mainoo at times for Mctominay, most fans did not like it, secondly Garnacho instead of Rashford despite Rashford's dismal form) Counter to this is Mainoo is young, not to forget he had a setback in pre season and looking at others he can't play 90 mins everytime IMO; secondly as much as Rashford has frustrated the fans this year with his tweets and performances maybe Ten Hag kept him on always hoping that he scores because a. he needs it, b. one player who largely contributed to ETH's success in his debut season deserved more chances and also, he's a fan favourite (especially before this season). So are the arguments for his decisions valid? Maybe. 2. Going defensive when we should've played with more courage because going defensive only led to us dropping points you rather go to kill the game or drop points in the attempt of it, a 50-50 situation. (This was majorly for every games we dropped points in before Februrary) Irony is he is sticking to an attacking approach now when especially after our recent games everyone feels why not go defensive. What if he feels this team can't do a "Jose style" defending, can't see out games where we are leading? Because multiple games this season are a proof (our entire ucl campaign apart from both Bayern games, and the current run of Brentford, Chelsea, Burnley, Coventry, etc) Even with a full squad, we did see out games better but they were scrappy. But Palace game being our latest, last season we were 1 up, we go defensive and then Olise hurt us with that last min free kick? So personally this approach with a fit squad is great and with a squad who anyway panics under pressure, going defensive is inviting more pressure and eventually fucking up. Why? Again, the PLAYERS are incapable of executing with Sir Onana leading the line. So taking this into consideration, does Ten Hag really have a say in both? Now, why this is our worst season in the prem history 1. INJURIES! We have always seen Klopp crying whenever they lose Alisson, VVD, Trent, Robertson, Salah. Even if any one or 2 are out entire narrative is Liverpool cannot play 'their way'. City have taken a while to get used to playing without KDB but can City be in the conversation? Their B team can compete for the title so no. Arsenal last season lost Saka in between, lost Saliba more importantly and messed up the league, Spurs without Kane or Son is always a different scenario, Chelsea without Palmer and the list goes on. Now you're saying ETH 'kuch toh karna chahiye' with his 2 first-choice CBs, first-choice LB, second choice LB, (Special mention to our med department who allowed Reguilon to leave, he has now warmed up and done decently for Brentford except for that Red card) unke backups (Lindelof, Harry), unka backup who is also injured but more importantly very young to settle in, Evans who is again unfit but not to be blamed. Not to forget Mount, who missed the most of the season and is not yet fully fit to perform for 90 mins at the intensity we demand, Mctominay doing everything apart from defending also injured, important players underperforming, and once again the heroics of Sir Onana dropping in between. He has done well recently again but De Gea's worst season wasn't this bad but that's a different debate altogether. (Don't forget Hojlund's injury right when we thought he had found his game because Tony Martial again deserves another whole debate and also sparks a question on how much is our med department responsible for the injuries and rehab for example Casemiro's case where he was announced fit and an important issue went unnoticed. So spine of the team, big charachters who were important in last season's success are out, underwhelming squad and bench usme bhi injuries. Eriksen playing games like it's a training session yet complaining about game time. So can we really expect them to perform when these players are done mentally in the training sessions only? and again, Is ETH to blame for setting high standards? More importantly training standards? Ragnick had shown us the trailer already. In all this, remember Sancho saga, Antony's case, Greenwood, and other issues) Refereeing being a reason as well. And yet, the "Ange-ball" playing Spurs are only 6 points away, Villa somewhat slipping up as well. The reason why I'm mentioning this even though they are well ahead is because the league in general has also been tricky this season. Palace beat us twice (unacceptable), beat Liverpool at Anfield, Fulham has beating beaten us, Spurs, drawn to Arsenal away, beaten them at home, and are yet to play City at home. Wolves have double over Spurs, double over Chelsea, Beaten City once, and yet to play Liverpool. Brighton have beaten us, beaten Spurs, drawn to Liverpool once. These are all teams from the bottom half of the table. Point being while other teams 7 other teams (Chelsea and Newcastle recently) now have managed to cope with it and are above us firing at some stage or the other, injuries and continuous injuries have been a very crucial dent to our season. And the form, and other issues mentioned above. Don't see a reason why I'd sack the manager. Let's see United against the big teams (Mainly City, Liverpool, Arsenal because Chelsea, Spurs games haven't been a concern and we know we have been great with ETH) and also talk about the style of play if we sit back and win games like we did mostly under Ole and Jose, you get decent results but boring games and it clearly affects our approach against the other teams and that directly affects our points because we didn't do shit with possession. Jose still finished 2nd but people didn't see the kind of 'big games' you'd want. Then we don't want to play defensively even though we are winning. Jose was doing well, Ole did well in big games except for games against Liverpool and Arsenal where it was just painful to watch. With ETH, Against Arsenal, we beat them once, lost twice both times the game was tied until the end where we went for a win and lost, hurts but IMO better than to sit back and maybe win not all of them but a few. Against City, great win once, a bad game (6-3, 2-1 FA Cup final), 3-0 and 3-1 we could've played better but from a long-term view better than sitting back for the entire 90 and winning 1-0 or 2-0. But against Liverpool we have played way better apart from the 7-0 which was again very random. In this case, we should go full defensive in second half. Under Jose and Ole, we beat Liverpool just twice (1 under each) Ole's coming in a FA Cup Quarter final where we again played on counter. So under ETH, we surely look like a bigger threat. SO he clearly needs to stay especially keeping in mind this has been happening for years now, the same cycle, our ffp situation and again, the injuries. P.S: Sancho getting praises for a couple of decent games even though his numbers are severely overwhelming. However, the bigger issue with him and why he needs to be sold is not just what he did with ETh but even in Ole's interviews he mentioned Sancho was brought to plat at RW, preferred LW, same with ETH, called out the manager for something Sancho himself was responsible and is now dropping so-called 'great and dominating' performances from the RIGHT. Now there is no issue? I hope we get rid of him even before Martial. Leaving the team, throwing tantrums in a season where we really needed him.

Sacking ten hag will not help. These players have done this time and again. Same thing happened with jose and ole. After the while these players just give up. Its time these players should get the axe.
