Ten-Car Magnum Train! (K'nex)

Testing out how different size trains run on @CoasterWriter custom K'nex model, Magnum XL-300! The max-train length we could make was ten-cars, and as you'll see it ran quite nicely! Enjoy!
Check out the Luke's final video of Magnum XL-300 here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/kZOEqdqOgtvOqqw.html

    @@3dcoaster I would estimate around 500-700 dollars, as the Phantom's Revenge recreation that I'm making probably has around ten thousand pieces, which is probably 100-150 dollars. K'NEX is really not that expensive (at least compared to lego)

    you allready tested bearing types, now you gotta do 2 other tests.... one for optimal weight of a car and one for optimal leanth of train. would be cool to see what weight plus leangth gets the most speed and distance

  • @3dcoaster

    @3dcoaster

    6 ай бұрын

    That would be pretty neat. Building outside has its challenges so you'd want to make sure whatever you do can withstand the weather. For instance, even though this coaster looks to run fine outside, it took quite a bit of time to clean the tracks and train wheels for it to make it around the track. The Knex system is probably the most resilient to the elements, so if you can snag a couple kits and use their stock trains that's probably the best place to start.

    This coaster was built from K'nex pieces (trains are custom though). This is a very large and custom coaster, but all the track and supports are K'nex pieces from their Screamin Serpent roller coaster sets and others from that era of K'nex. Have a good one!
