The scallop corner die-cut is very fancy, indeed. I’m just in love with that Mintay coastal living/seashore theme. The individual seashell die-cuts make such beautiful cut-outs!

Sometimes I get a die that doesn’t cut good either so it becomes an embossing “die” or I use it with my hot foil press machine. That way I keep them in a separate binder from my cutting dies.

re: the circle die at aprox 19:00. i agree that there should be holes to poke out the paper etc, but to work with what you have i have two tips. use a piece of parchment paper between the diecut and the cardstock. it will prevent the cardstock from sticking in the thin lines and taring when you try and remove it. use a paper piercer to take out the bits that are stuck in the die. i have a couple dies from temu that i need to do this with. just poke one end of the paper at an angle inward toward the center of the paper and pull/scoop upward. its really hard to describe it without showing it! i'm sure you will figure it out. yes, it's not an ideal way to use the diecut but you have it and it is really nice so maybe there are ways to make it a bit more user friendly! good luck!

Great review of the dies. I'm so disappointed as I tried ordering dies and embossing folders 2 days ago and they ALL had been discontinued. In fact, all the crafting items have been discontinued. I so missed out! Probably the craft companies put up a fuss because they were losing money since Temu sells so much cheaper.

You do realize that almost all craft supplies are made in China. Even brand name ones like Tim Holtz. Look at labels on products & you will find almost everything is imported. Even your prescriptions & food unfortunately are manufactured in China.
