​​@@ShannonSouthAfricaI saw them on temu for like and can't find any with the light anywhere else, but than that identical for no more than 80$ I hope someone hasn't scammed you, these things are super affordable everywhere especially for fow good they last when u get a good one, well the actual Gerber ones, not these that say GERBEN in the picture on the site lol...I oromise I'm not being s troll, I just know ive seen scammer sell "real" products for expensive and be fake, or just seriously over charging to someone who apparently doesn't do research or know any better and I HATE SCAMMERS, and people who take advantage of others, anyways sorry for my rant! This is a clone knife but it a good knife for what it's worth

I got 2 temu strong arms they are good quality

no link for this in the video but good video i got a older one from wally world but they stopped selling it under the bear grills name there they only sale the ultimate survival knife now with out his name on it

You're right! It's not even close to the original. From the lettering on the handle to sheath design. The Bear Grylls stuff was discontinued for the most part except for the Ulitimate survival knife. It's very similar except that it's black and green and doesn't have the survival guide pocket

@DaveB432 I wouldn't label it as a terrible knife. It really depends on what you use it for. I have the non BG version and I would NEVER use it as a survival knife!! However, as a hiking or outdoor knife for sure. I got it because I always wanted one even tho BG is a big fraud but I am a fan of Gerber. Granted, the knife is chinese made, but it's still good.

I own the Gerber BG Ultimate Pro and I have put it through its paces for 7 years and keeps on ticking. Such an incredible blade for backpacking. If you can swallow your pride and hip a knife that has the BG everywhere on it. You will not go wrong. It will perform!

That's how 99% of compasses work.must be held level to be accurate

Gerber is a good company but i wouldnt go with bear grylls version/products

​@annodomini7250 You're correct, and the knife this guy is reviewing is not even close to the original. You can still buy the ultimate survival knife just not with the BG logo or colors.

@@AlphaPreparednessmost of the Fiskars stuff is too. I think they have the same style as Kershaw where you have to buy the specifically marked USA made stuff.

😂 these are not Gerber knives this is junk

The original one was POS. I understand there is a barrel full of these broken knives at Pathfinder School. With that said the Chinese knock off is probably better than the original. I wouldn't stake my life on it.

The real one have nothing to envy, fake ones are so good this days .. you buy nearly the same quality but much cheaper

Bear Grylls stuff is 💩

This knife is ok for the first knife to give to your boy to play with in the backyard or camping but it’s a piece of Chinese junk and not a good full tang.If you want a good knife to save your life then pay the extra money and buy one.
