There is one episode i wish i could find. There was a returning champ that lost on his fourth or fifth night because the woman challenger in the centre kept pressing the buzzer before him answering every question wrong in the final minute which allowed the other challenger to win by one question. The look on the losing champs face was gonna kill her. So funny. Best show ever!

Defeated by an opponent in 1994 and the Second in 1999 where Barbara Browning from North Adelaide played for the Alfa Romeo GTV V6 worth $81,500 plus an 18 Carat Gold Diamond Studded Keyring worth $2,000 from Germani Jewellery. Plus all the Prizes she got back was a $16,178 trip to Singapore from Singapore Airlines, an Omega Watch worth $21,500 and a Diamond Opal Necklace worth $25,400 from Germani Jewellery.

Drew could've had that if Stephen hadnt picked the $25 of all things. He kept buzzing in way too early in the final 60 and screwed himself to try and make the big gap it caused.

Stephen won $25 clear, so if he hadn't picked any money it would've been a tie breaker!

@Achtung Baby Imagine it did all come down to the tie breaker question and he lost it all to that. It would probably have been the most devastating thing to have ever happened on any gameshow.

I guess cos he was actually a very strong contestant that maybe himself could've been a grand champion. But he made a fair few mistakes cos he buzzed so early into the questions to try to beat the Grand Champ
