Up next on Stil vor Talent, Berlin-via-Paris based producer Temple Tears steps in with his debut transmission for us, 'Silent Teacher'. Exponent of a highly energetic, no-surrender strain of electronics, the French talent has us submerged into an effervescing pool of pulsating rhythms and rogue sine waves all set at sweeping dance floors clean this coming summer. Highlighting Temple Tears' steady evolution towards higher BPM ratios and a more in-your-face approach to production, 'Silent Teacher' conjures up the spirits of turn-of-the-millennium figures Cirez D and Fehrplay, both of which played a strong inspirational part in the composition of the lead single. Stacking up incendiary levels of NRG before releasing it with resolute impact, the title-track takes us on a much physical ride from neon-splattered EBM landscapes onto further claustrophobic cosmic tech ventures. All in tendinous bass and fireball arps, here comes a thunderbolt of Italo-flavoured ready to blast your system to shreds. Then there's 'Atom', a cut designed to fit perfectly in any climactic scenario, as it muscles its way to the apex of dance floor ecstasy with massive amounts of fractured machine funk and sizzling bass swells. Bio:
A bouncing but dark groove is what can be described as a signature of Temple Tears. Dark and uplifting, atmospheric and full of energy, as if his music comes from another place. There surely is a little drip of melancholy here and there - one may say a little tear - but it‘s not necessary to be patient for that long. Be sure, the next powerful bassline is just on its way. In 2020, the french Artist released his debut EP on LOKD - a label well known as home of Avem & Arutani. Spotted by downtempo queen Mira he followed up with his Mangrove EP on Kiosk ID. A release that turned out to become a door opener for Kiosk‘s bigger brother, the infamous Katermukke, where he placed two tracks as Mycelium EP. Some more names to be told are Down. Records, Crépite and Akumandra, where he appeared on compliations or as a remix artist. A last story to be told is, that Temple Tears can already be seen as an electronic music veteran. Before his downtempo project was born in the desert of Nevada - Burning Man - he already was an internationally touring Artist for more than 10 years.
