If you are visiting Chiang Mai then you need to spend a day temple hopping and eating at the famous Sunday Night Markets. Chiang Mai in Thailand in a beautiful city full of rich culture, delicious food and it is the perfect place to walk around and explore. We had the most amazing time seeing some incredible Buddhist temples in Chiang Mai, and they were all easily within walking distance of each other.
After visiting some of the popular temples in Chiang Mai we had worked up enough of an appetite that we had to stop by the famous Sunday night markets in Chiang Mai's old town. Street food in Thailand has always been some of our favourite food, and we made sure to eat some iconic dishes on our trip.
We tried Khao Soi for the first time, which is the national dish of North Thailand. It was amazing, and if you haven't tried it before then we highly recommend it.
