One of my first tests was to draw this in my mechanical drafting class. Before Autocad and all the other nifty computer programs. Then it was referred to as a truncated cylinder. Was a challenge to plot the curve but a great thing to complete.

Many thanks for a very interesting video. PLease tell me if you have a video on how to make a template to cut a hole for a cylindrical pipe to intersect a flat surface. (I have tried an elipse, with the proper width and height, but the shape came out wrong). Or if anybody knows of such a video, please show me the link. Thanks again.

Stretch out of the circumference determines length of curves.

That's only good for a 45 degree cut
