TEMPERS FLARE in NAA Championship Game!
What is NAA (National Academies Association)?
NAA is a culmination of Academy baseball teams, where kids take online courses that meet the High School curriculum standards, and are living in a college like environment. Teams typically spend the first part of their day practicing as a team and spend the afternoon on their schooling.
You will see a couple kids who have graduation dates that have already passed, this is in part due to these kids still having high school eligibility still available, this came with either a covid year or reclassification!

good sportsmanship by the runner. Told the catcher it was his bad. Didn't need all that drama...

what he was about to do was so much fun. glad it's not allowed anymore but man...good stories(and i was the catcher)
Let’s give some love to the ump😭 I’ve seen him in multiple videos going 110%
Very crisp and clear signals and mechanics by the first base umpire, good job! Excellent umpiring example.

Dude, he's wonderful. At about 6:50, runners on 1st and 2nd, ball down the right field line, he pushes the umpire in C over to 3b, and he gets ahead of that runner for the play at 2nd. Hell yes.
Not sure why everyone got so worked up on that play at the plate. In hindsight, catcher did as much or more to induce the contact and the runner isn't going to slide that far from home plate and tried to avoid the collision as best he could. The runner could have trucked the catcher but pulled up.

Any good catcher is well aware of what the consequences of their body placement with and without the ball can bring. Anytime my son has been lade out on the plate when he was blocking the plate without the ball i always tell my son its on him not the guy coming to score cause he knows not to block the lane when he doesn't have the ball.

Nobody is worked up, they decided to put "Tempers Flare" in the headline. That's not temper's flare.

I dont think the runner could truck the catcher, would have been an ejection
I umpire and sometimes I have to LOL @ the home plate meetings, full of handshakes and fake smiles.
Drama moments aside, I see two very close matched teams, playing their heart out with class. It's a shame either has to lose a game like that. Well done men, on both sides.
17:39 that was a home run😂

Slowed it down and it was literally off the very top of the fence. Looked like a bomb tho
Lmao buster posey rule has allowed catchers to sprint in front of runners and start fights over the consequences constantly

The buster posey rule has nothing to do with a players inability to control their own emotions. Shit take
Good game by two great teams. Best of luck going forward gents.
where can we see the entire full game?
That guy in the run down at 3rd was safe by a mile.
If this is tempers flaring I’m guessing the videographer and the editor haven’t seen Wally Blackman Coach.
What camera + lenses are you using to film these videos?? Crispy AF!!! 🔥

Regarding the play at the plate, when you know you are out just give it up which the runner basically did. Good job

at the 19-minute mark the batter admires his home run and turns it into a single.
so is this like before MLB? im not clear on all the leagues lol any help would be great!!!
is the pitcher (the first pitcher) the kid from New York that threw the perdect game in llws in 2018?

Great game. Great umpiring. I thought they got a couple calls wrong on first watch but re-watching they are right every time....except for the non strike call @ 14:39 If hitter in bottom 6 hustles and doesn't pimp a 315 foot single that double play probably doesn't happen. Plate collision top 7 (20:31), the runner definitely let up. That was a non-issue to me. You can see his steps trying to avoid contact when the catcher goes right to him to secure the tag. Coaches did good work to diffuse the non-issue.

Yes, there was a tag at 1st, that I was almost positive he was safe, then went frame by frame and saw it. Such a good call. Also surprised the balk at 1508 was so calm and the field umpire didn't say anything.
Yamamoto Shoved... also these kids look way better than any high school team ive seen. Looks like high level D2

Yeah, hitting was incredible. Video makes judging the pitching hard since it slows down perceived velocity but I don't think the pitching was the reason for the good bats. Pitching was probably really good too.

If you look at top of the video you can see where each kid is committed to go to college.
Why does the ducks catcher always look at 3rd base before going after the ball? He could have gotten one of the guys going home if he didn't look at third
The one thing I learned from this is...one team has Thor on their side.😉
This two teams can rake. A hole lot of talent on both teams.
Catcher's mobility is so hampered with the one knee down , especially with runners on. The could barely move to block baseballs
Love the gold chain eye black snug pants divas😂
Some of the worst throws from SS and 3rd base I've ever seen. Side arm, taking their time, etc......surprised.
Just for the record, I never once wore a batting glove, shin guard or elbow pad.
@17:14 that looked safe playing the video back at 0.25 the speed. The home plate stuff the runner looks to be saying "my bad".
Not much there, runner was a good sport.. BIGGER question is why 3rd base coach sent him?
The pitcher for the white time was throwing heat
No opinion here, but what's the age of the players?
All of a sudden everyone has to scribble something with the bat knob!
what lens do you mainly use

14:20 Thats too close to call out. I slowed it down and its literally soon as 1st closes glove the runner has the top of his right foot on the bag. Im calling it safe.
This isn’t tempers flaring it’s two bench players doing a whole lot of nothing
Didn’t realize this was a game of mlb the show created players lol
When you slow speed to .25 and replay the tag at home, he is out
Who the hell is number is 88😂😂
I haven't finished watching the game, the score is 5-5 in the top of the 6th. Sorry bro not trying to talk shit, just giving a little advice to the catcher on the Ducks. Team E7 has five runs, in which three are from passed balls the catcher missed. Ok yes, they were bad pitches, but not a wild pitch. If you watch the game the catcher is on his right knee every single pitch, so when there is a bad pitch, he is not in the right position to stop the ball when there's a pitch in the dirt. Stay on those toes' bro! Other than that, everything looked good. The catcher has a strong arm to 2nd
Umpire blew that call in the fifth inning at third base. I saw him ask the plate for his view. By the video jump, it appears as if the home plate umpire agreed with the call. So I’m going to say the Homeplate umpire missed it or offered no help. At least the third base umpire knew there was a chance he was wrong. If you’re not going to come down there and help, don’t come to third base.
Runner couldn't stop his momentum in time and catcher stood in front of him. Baseball play.
88 didnt see the field and talking all that shit 🤣🤣
Pass balls, wild pitches, and errors. “Defense wins championships”
How do you even trust the throw a curve ball in the dirt that ducks catcher can’t block to save his life
the team in black gave that win away...
Bad baseball is EVERYWHERE!!
White and red team need sliding lessons!!! lol
I don't get it...
Definitely not a pitchers duel.
Catcher need to hit the weight room

Catcher trying to throw them out at second from his knees. What does he think he is ? A pro? He barely got a 1 hop there 😅😅
Bro tried getting up like he was somebody when he fell str8 to his ass after the runner let up and barely touched him grow tf up kid

I think all baseball played at the high school level or higher should all be wood bats
@Bo-hb3eo
3 күн бұрын
I used to think that that was not feasible. With the price of today’s equipment… Maybe it is. I was in high school when aluminum bats first came out. I did not like them. We used to get two bats to start the season, they would break pretty quickly. Then I saw how everyone else was hitting pretty well with the aluminum bats, so I tried it as they say the rest is history. That’s a big cost the school programs don’t have to deal with. Most kids have their own bats now.
Egos ran high after a lil tap
I seen more tempers flair at a 11 u game than this lol
Way too many mistakes and subpar play in this game.
20:24
Talk about a letdown
17:14 safe
I’m sorry but the UCF commit needs some help he can’t hit the broad side of a barn and doesn’t throw hard enough not to have accuracy
Idk I see him slow down but then lay down on his shoulder at the last second. I'm not saying it's the wrong idea; it's just that the kid knew what he was doing w/the fake apologies tryna suck asshole. The same kid chirped earlier after a walk
In Canada,we use wooden bats.Just sayin.
Pitching and infield play were terrible
That was soy milk
Is it just me or do they all look tiny
Very misleading title
Sportsmanship from both sides was terrible. This is why the game is the way it is today.
Softest hit in the world, bad caption for the video
Sorry Catch but if you come that far up the line on me heading home you will not be standing at the end of the play; I might be out but I will doing everything legal to make you drop that ball and once you leave the area of the plate and remain in the base path you are a target, this runner was too gentle with you in my opinion.

agree , he even patted his chest and stopped after contact and said " my bad "
this was clearly staged
Wtf kind of field is this? Looks like they’re playing baseball with a bouncing ball. 3rd base ump looks like he came from the LLWS
Parents annoying
An all turf field? Yikes
Terrible bunting mechanics
how the hell are these dudes on rides to any college this is terrible and hard to watch
Kids play like punks today…too much emotion…no class.
Wow, terrible sliding.
lol that was tempers flaring???? I’ve seen pillow fights with more intensity then that
Skinny lefty pitcher is not nearly as good as he thinks he is.
It’s Base….. Ball. A snooze fest of a sport, Americas past time.
