I was not a fan of Temperance before Kristin joined because I just didn't really know about the band (not out of dislike or anything), but I LOVE THIS song. This is so nice. Looking forward to hearing more!

The woman singer is fantastic, I was not expecting a lower pitch and loved it. Lots of metal bands have a low - high counterpoint and it was nice to just hear a beautiful voice!

About who anningan refers to

So, why I never heard of this band, I don't know. I really like what I hear as well as what I see. I guess I need to prepare and set aside funds to purchase all 8 studio albums... I've read an article that briefly compares Temperance with Amaranthe. The one thing I don't like about Amaranthe is Henrik's harsh, demonic-like vocal parts, (this kind of vocal turns me off of other bands as well). To me it ruins the the melodic feel. I prefer to hear Elize solo or with Nils, who also has a great voice. Again, this is only my opinion/musical preference. Disparage me, if you must.

Then do you need to go to Visions of Altlantis and listen to Michele Guaitoli together with Clémentine Delauney in Melancholy Angel. I can disagree about Amarnthes harsh vocals, but GG6 has now left the band and been replaced with Mikael Sehlin but they sounds much the same.

There's so much out there, and I rely on KZread quite a bit to find new music to listen to. Being in the US, radio and 98% of today's pop rock/metal doesn't do it for me. It never really did. The majority of my favorites since the 80's are from 'across the pond', as they say.. 😁... Rock On, jan.
