Looks so much more pleasing to look at than stock Teslas that look like milk floats. Wheels look fantastic as well... and rear diffuser is just mega. 😍

That’s a very fine looking model 3, sporty! Make sure to do a Chrom delete tho to match with the carbon parts

Thank you - it now looks as fast as it goes! The chrome delete is shown in the video - I went with a white satin chrome to match the xpel stealth PPF, as I preferred this look.

I thought I was done with my M3P with a de-chrome and window tint but this is in a different league 👌 How did you stick on your number plate? I've got a vinyl one but it isn't perfect due to the curves and holes where the original plate used to go.

Thanks very much 😊 the vinyl plate is stuck onto the PPF... just deburr the holes and it should fit nicely 👍🏼

Pleased you like it! One of my favourite cars of all time and the bodykit, wheels and xpel stealth wrap really makes it stand out.... The tyres I’ve got are Front:- 245/30/ZR21 Continental Sport Contacts Rear:- 295/25/ZR21 Continental Sport Contacts. The fronts are a little too narrow and expose the lip of the wheel, so I’ll probably go for the Michelin Pilot Sport 4’s next set. Hope that helps

Daniel, any updates on the Model 3? I think I’ve watched this video over 100 times, absolutely in love with the car and is exactly what I plan to have when the 2022 model comes out. Any new videos would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Alejandro, Thank you for your comment - there isn’t any update as such, as these videos are quite time consuming to make, I’ve decided to stop making them. However in relation to the car, it’s absolutely fantastic, all the bodykit / wheels / PPF etc are all almost like new. I changed the tyres to Michelin Pilot Sport 4’s when the Pirelli’s wore down, and I prefer the Michelin’s. The car has done around 13,000 miles I think and it gets better and better with the firmware updates. BTW, did you ever lend your car to Vorsteiner? I have an awesome wallpaper background on my computer (wish I could share it) with your exact same setup. The only difference is the Tesla emblem on the hood has been changed for the red V. BTW have you had a chance to drive the Model Y performance? If you have do you think you would prefer that one over your Model 3? Take care and thanks again for sharing your beautiful car with us.

Thank you. I won’t say no, never, but I’ve been there and done that in terms of track days and racing... and with a car like this Tesla it’s quite big and heavy so it’s not ideally suited - a Caterham is perfect for track days - check out my other videos where I raced for three years in the official UK Caterham championship. This video is more about the pleasure and joy of making a (albeit very fast) Tesla model 3 performance, look as cool as it should (in my opinion). Thank you very much. Yes there are some potholes around this area, but it’s okay I just drive around them! The tyres are very skinny, but the wheels are magnesium, and (I think) will be stronger than a “usual” alloy wheel.

Thinking about this body kit over unplugged performance since I like the diffuser look. The diffuser is rugged right and doesn't need ppf?

The vorsteiner diffuser is really rugged and great quality. I decided not to get any PPF fitted as it didn’t look like it needed it - and I’ve not regretted that decision (so far) 👍🏼

What color and brand chrome delete did you use? Love it

Great choice! No drilling required - the kit uses all OEM fitting points. The only part which is bonded is the rear diffuser.

No, it’s an OEM fit... it is bonded to the rear bumper though.

Have you noticed any improvement to range since lowering and adding the body kit?

No, I can’t say I have.

With the kit and lowering are you having to drive carefully to avoid driveways with curbs or multistorey car parks, speed bumps? Also, any noticeable impact on range or performance?

No not having to drive much more carefully. Yes it is an inch or so lower, so std physics mean it is closer to the ground, so a bit of consideration in some areas is helpful. Unsure on range performance- the range estimate has never been as accurate as the i3’s we had, so it’s hard to tell, but I’d guess there is a small impact on range.

Have a look on the vorsteiner website and you can find local dealers there. Then have a look on the xpel website for the local dealers there.

Isn't the cost of this pretty ridiculous? The side skirts alone look to be £2k? Looks great but absolutely mad money for what you get.

It’s not a cheap kit that’s for sure. In my opinion it makes the car look as fast as it is, now. And, as a whole package (car, wheels, kit, PPF etc) it’s still thousands cheaper than other cars (exotic or not) and I think this is a rare car in this trim that looks great and doesn’t make a load of noise to grab attention - stealthy!! I guess, would be the right word.

That rear spoiler and diffuser ruin the look in my opinion
