Infertility is anyone who tries to conceive for a year actively and cannot without help. I suffer from infertility. That does not mean I will never have a baby, just I'm not naturally fertile. It's truly a miracle to conceive. To laughinggirl, congrats!

Aw, that's a great reaction. My parents said "oh shit" when I got pregnant. Haha. Of course with the next child we were much more prepared and didn't allow any negative comments. It was either support us or go away.

I found out about my first grandchild after my son and his wife came back from a trip to Hawaii. They brought me this box of cookies from a specialty cookie store. I opened it and saw a pacifier in there. My first thought was oh no, somebody's kid had lost their paci at the cookie store and then after that I realized they were looking at me all funny while I just held it. Then I finally got it. Duh. How would a baby put its paci in a cookie box? To clarify it was a custom mix in an unsealed box
