Telling My Husband We're Pregnant!
After over 2 years of trying to conceive, 6 rounds of Clomid, 3 rounds of Femara, and 4 IUI's, we finally decided to stop trying.
Sure enough, that very first month after we cancelled all appointments and fertility treatments, we finally conceived.
I kept the news to myself for an excruciating week and a half, so I could tell my husband on Christmas Day.
Based on when we conceived, our baby was about the size of an apple seed on Christmas Day. So I made a tiny origami box, put an apple seed in it, and hid it in the Christmas tree. (A little background about my husband--he loves apples. Like LOVES THEM. People who know him will tell you, "Ron"is synonymous with "Apple". So it was extra perfect the Christmas happened to fall right around the time when the baby was that size. :)
I knew this would be a cryptic way to tell him, so I also wrapped a positive pregnancy test in the likely event that he didn't get what I was trying to say.
I told him a week before Christmas that I was ready to start trying again, and that I had gone for my checkup at the fertility clinic and started treatments again. In reality, I went to the lab and had a blood test done to confirm the pregnancy. :)
It was a very happy Christmas indeed, and our little apple seed will be arriving August 2015!

This is beautiful. You can literally feel the love between the two of you when you hug. Congratulations.

Hahaha! That's not the first time someone's said that! We've gotten baby lamb, baby goat, and Falcor from Neverending Story. 😅

The doggo was just chillin' getting love and cuddles then senses the mood change and is like, "Wait, why are you crying human?"
