I own two of these jackets. One in the 12.5 oz indigo and the other is the slightly heavier black version. They are without a doubt excellent and unique pieces. The large pocket is one of the most useful features you’ll ever have on a piece of clothing. I was wearing the black jacket and I had a co-worker comment that he liked my coat and that I looked like a vampire hunter. If that isn’t a compliment I don’t know what is.

Yes! Tellason makes some amazing stuff! They just released a Ecru (white denim) which is killer!

The fit on these coats is funky. Tight through the upper body but extra loose through the waist. If you have an athletic build I recommend going with a size large and then having it tailored. I'm 5'9" 180 lbs. with a 40" chest. Tellason medium is way too restrictive on me so I sized up and have it taken in. I love the fit now and can ride my motorcycle without feeling like my arms are restricted. Just my own 2 cents. Thanks for the review guys.

Hey, thanks for your input. I think they open up the waist a bit so you can sit without unbuttoning the bottom. Personally, I like a more fitted cut and love the way this jacket fits me! 😎

Ok dudes...I wear a 40 short in blazers, but I ended up exchanging the Med for a Sm after all. Definitely a tailored fit, but not tight for this dad bod. Sleeves are perfect length and cam comfortably button top button with out choking. It's a little trial and error finding the perfect fit with Tellason, but once you do (and Tony will help you) it's gravy from there. I have 2 pairs of Ladbroke Grove 16.5oz, a pair of John Graham Mellors 14.75oz, and the Coverall 16.5. Can't wait to add the Fatigue pants and flannels to my collection.

@@johneroyaleYes, and sizing is a matter of personal taste to certain extent. I prefer to have a more “fitted” look. Jimmy likes to have a little more room for layering. Glad you found your jam!

Definitely unique to Tellason

If you guys have a lot of experience with Tellason maybe you could comment on the jeans sizing? I've been shopping Tellason for my next pair and there are no size/measurement charts on Tellason's website (an oversight IMO). I have a 33.5 inch waist. In a vanity sized brand like Levis I typically wear a 31. Are these sized similarly or are they more true to the number? Anyways, thanks for the video and sharing these items from your collection. Can't wait for the chore coat deep dive, love to see it.

Sounds like you’d probably need a medium. What is your chest measurement? Jimmy is about 40” chest- height wears a medium.

I’m about your measurements - maybe a little under 170 pounds. I recently bought their dyed coverall jacket in medium and it fits well. Some space for layering. Don’t want it too snug. I’m not certain if the denim coverall jackets are cut with the same measurements as the dyed ones but I’d still guess medium for you.

im 5'6 195, bought to do a cut down to 185. weightlifter body type. Have a hard time getting a fit for jackets, you guys think a large would be too long? my chest is 44-45 inches

The best way to determine your fit, is to measure a jacket that you already own that fits you well. Carefully study the size charts on the website, compare your length measurements to the jacket sizing. I would recommend checking out Filson’s cruiser jacket, it’s like a chore jacket but a little shorter in length. Filson runs a little roomier.

Yeah the sleeves have a slight taper

I don't like dark denim or hand pockets that open from the top. Pockets should open from the side for the best comfort, IMHO.

its not a "comfort" jacket,its a workers jacket,workers put stuff in their pockets that they don't want to fall out
