In 1972 my family rented a villa here when i was 7 years old. I had never been abroad (from North East England) and I thought it was a paradise on earth. I couldn't beleive that people could live in such an amazing place. It still looks beautiful but I understand that nowadays in non covid times it gets way too populated... when I was there there was afew Italian families holdaying. I remember a little beach down some steep stairs and a bar in the little square with a pool table. we hd a woman who did the cooking. she had a large birth mark on her face which was a bit scary to me and my sister. I wonder if anyone would remember her 50 years on! In those days it must have been a blow out holiday... very exspensive and we went back to a farm cottage for a week in Berwick upon tweed after that!

Is this part of La Spezia? I've been there before and i really loved the 5 villages. Beautiful coast line. Your shots are awesome. MAGNIFICENT place! Wish i coukd travel now
