When I go on holy land tours there is SO MUCH to learn it’s overwhelming. I love the way you break out the sections. It enhances my understanding. Happy Belated Birthday! My wife works for an airline that flies to Israel, and we came to Israel for the first time two nights ago (though we had to come on different flights). It was like the blind leading the blind, but our little group of airline employees and husbands went to Jerusalem and called me their "tour guide." I was recalling many things that I've learned from reading and watching videos like yours. So, thank you! (I was secretly hoping to run into you both at of the of the amazing sites in Jerusalem that testify to the truth.) Sadly, we fly back today, but we hope to return. As they USED TO say, "Next year in Jerusalem!"

I just went last April on a 10 day tour. We saw a lot. I think Tel Dan was one of my favorite ruins to visit. It had color. Its gate and walkway up very well preserved. The sitting place of the king at the gate. The fact that the Tel Dan stele was found here. The Abrahamic gate. The trees and river all made it a really interesting site. I wonder what else could be discovered there.

I love love figs they are the best I grow them in my backyard!

A quick thought on celebrating birthdays. I think you should celebrate a day for every year that you are in age. For me it would be 70 days of celebration! How many for you young lady? : ) I always thought a fig was a dried plum? Crazy huh! Dictionary here I come.

When I watch a video I look at the likes and the dislikes and I wonder if the people even watch the video that puts dislikes on it or if they just hate Israel? I know the old saying goes you can't please everybody no matter what you do, I wonder if anyone else wonder about stuff like this or is it just me. loved that little couple so much.

Great job on this tour. I love the idea of you two going to the off-the-beat-and-path places where regular tourists don't get a chance to see. PS: My birthday was on August 13th...in the year of our Lord 1946. (2 years before Israel became a State) I can still remember my Mother being very excited when Israel won it's independence. Her Church recognized the significance of that miraculous event. With Love From California.

From my study of the Bible I believe that the fig tree was the forbidden fruit which Adam and Eve ate in Genesis. There are clues to this all over the Old and New Testaments. Nice exposé of Tel Dan.
