Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Miguel / Marduk vs Bob / Lars #3 12/22

Ойындар

3rd and final set of TTT2 matches with me as Miguel Rojo / Craig Marduk vs Bob Richards / Lars Alexanderrson.
In these matches, I tried to use a lot of d/b2 for Marduk to get used to that new move since I don't use it a lot and know it's one of his better moves now. I also got to work on him some more particularly some of his combos as I screwed some of those up badly at times. I also must have accidentally ki charged 10 times with Marduk while trying to get into VTS, lol.

Amazing matches, I'm assuming just as eZe said Neo is still adjusting to the tag. I know he had school so I wouldn't doubt that interfered with his training. Also...I just watched an online warrior player like ourselves take out NYC Fab in the NEC tournament a couple days ago...by far one of the best grand finals I have ever seen. Looks like online can make offline warriors of us yet lol

Nice matches. It took Neo a good while to adjust, and it seems like he's still getting used to the tag system, both meter and combo-wise (43:38 was the perfect example of both). That team seems to have a lot of potential though.

Your Miguel is good IMO But your Marduk can use some work. For example:after you use F+1+4 try using grounded 2 instead of D2 and don't always use VTS d+1+2 try using VTS 3 every now and then. But other than that you're good.

I saw that tourney. There were a good number of online players there in general, along with the top offline players. AceUnlimited took out Fab in the finals; I heard it was kinda controversial tho because there was some sort of rule change that aided Ace in someway but regardless, he still won and online players are becoming more recognized as legit players in general.

You'll also notice that some well known offline players are playing online and taking it a bit more seriously these days (and a good number are pretty high on the leaderboards, like Kane, Rip, Anakin); yields a lot more competition.

Oh okay, well that doesn't seem to bad of a rule change if it was like you said. Plus Fab came from the losers brackets so he had a lot of ground to make up against Ace. See that's why I like using Jin, his electrics aren't as necessary as Kazuyas or Heihachis. Yeah, I was in NorCal 9 and got paired up with a pro player in my first fight lol. Bronson destroyed me with his Bruce, and I was mad nervous so I was playing like a beginner and making stupid mistakes I didn't normally make

The rule change had something to do with allowing more people to move on out of a pool of players then what was originally intended. Not 100% sure on the exact details. And yea, he didn't use many electrics, but Jin's electric is used differently from the real Mishima's; his is more of a punisher/combo finisher and Jin can get by without using it much. Btw, didn't you go to a tourney once in NorCal?

Yup, all my offline friends aren't really competition for me and online is the only way to get my game play up. I played a little last night and noticed a few of my weaknesses are still very there. Not as bad, but still noticeable and very predictable. I just need to get more practice in and I'll be golden after that.

Oh I didn't know there was a rule change. Do you happen to remember what it was exactly? Also Ace played a great team, not many electrics, but his Jin/Jun were pretty solid. It was a good fight either way just because of all the hype this game is getting now for close matches and epic comebacks. I need to find me a tourney to enter, even if I don't get far the experience is worth just being there.

If Miguel players get better, I sure as hell haven't seen them. I beat most Miguel players I come across online pretty mercilessly in mirror matches, and I'm a complete scrub compared to his game.

Just joking mate. And to be honest I only fought one good Miguel, but his F. Law was a scrub (Op kick and dragon tale every time he could).

Oh, oh, yeaaah right! My Miguel could, like, totally beat up your Miguel any day. lol But in all seriousness, I simply mean that good Miguel players are pretty damn rare online. They aren't impossible to come across, but are quite rare. I haven't seen one yet, most of the time the partner character is the one doing all of the heavy lifting. Miguel is often there for next to no reason. You know, other than for rugged good looks.. (And no, I don't consider myself an expert or anything)

Yeah, I could tell you were just kidding. (It is quite easy to misunderstand what people mean online, though, since you can't read tone. That's the cause of 99% of internet rage) Though, what does that say about Miguel? Is he a pretty low tier character or is he just difficult to get a grasp of? Furthermore, can't people use weaker characters (or at least more varied ones) online in Tekken? It always boils down to the same five or so faces. It can get old quick.
