I think not, Dragon Uppercut , Lightning Screw Uppercut, EWGF and Flash Punch Combo are better than all this "moves" Jin is a Mishima through and through

i think ima have start back playing with jin again. he was my main in T5 T6 TT1

Jin's Omen Stance is so complex that even after a decade at this point, No one has shown ALL of the moves it gives/gives back.

Zenshin allows you to transition into other moves from the stance. There's two versions of Mental Alertness, one does the exact same thing as Zenshin, the other is purely a taunt. A couple of moves will let you transfer into Zenshin stance when you hold forward. If you press d/f+3 and then d+1+2 (not sure), you will Ki Charge with a Mental Alertness taunt to go with it!

Zenshin allows you to transition into CDS (Crouching Demon Stance) which is the same as Jin's b+1, Mental Alertness is purely a taunt, but it used to give a Ki Charge when you used it after certain moves/combos (in previous games such as Tekken 4)

Just found out that you're right on Mental Alertness 1, but Zenshin is just an alternate (and slightly faster) version of mental alertness to to chain into combos.

+BloodBurger1 There is a move that's not on the move list its a move where Jin and Devil Jin can do the move is on Ghost Battle. I've been trying to do it but its hard to do. The move is when they switch places, but they don't runaway and do it. They do a move in order for them to switch places.

jin has alot of potential, when i play against like a skilled jin player, it really takes a lot of work to defeat him. very good damage nd a pretty wide spread hit location type style

They're both stances. Zenshin is more like an offensive stance and Mental Alertness is more defensive.

I have a problem with LLRK! I have an arcade stick but i do the same movement and press circle but it does a different move. Anyone could explain why it does a different move and no the correct move? Thx

I wonder why they don't add his old auto-reversal move from B+1&2 and that from his mental alertness stance that if you hold F or D/F then press a different button you can do f,f moves or his dragon punch motion moves in his movelist?

What does Zenshin and Mental Alertness do? Just a show off or a dodge move?

b,f+2,3~F ➡ 1+2 ➡ b+2,1 ➡ db+2,2,3. That is all.

i am positive that d/f+3 gives Jin the OG mental alertness Ki Charge.

Anyone here take Karate? I'm a 3rd degree black belt in TaekwonDo but I just want to know if Karate is any different. I know they have a equal amount of punches and kicks, but what really separates the two? I know TKD was derived from Karate

if you really were a 3rd degree black belt in taekwondo you would cleary know the diffrence, i mean even this game can show u that hoawrangs taekwondo moves are just completely diffrent from kazuyas mishima ryu karate, and jins karate, but siriously all the moves that hoawrang performs and his form, i have never seen or met any taekwondo black belt do these things man watsup with that.

No no no. I know there is a difference. I know the difference between attacks and stuff. In TKD its just kicks. (WTF Style) but Karate is a mixture between kicks and punches. I know that much. But i know there is a deeper meaning to Karate than just that. What do they teach you? Can someone who knows TKD just jump right into Karate without much trouble. Im asking this because i know TKD was derived from Karate. So they have things in common. But i really want to know what separates the two. Besides combat techniques. Sorry if i didnt explain well enough.

Jared Rhodes TKD is basically Korean Karate. But Japanese Karate has several different styles but the 2 main ones are Kyokushin and Shotokan. Kyokushin was created by Mas-Oyama and the style is much more squared up and kick boxing like. Kyokushin karate is what you are pretty much seeing in this vid. It is the main style that you would see in point sparring tournaments. Shotokan was developed by the Japanese military if I remember right. The stance is much more linear and it was really developed for battle field purposes. Heihachi and Kazuya`s styles are similar to Shotokan but still a bit different. Makoto from SF 3 and 4 uses the the closest thing to Shotokan I have seen in video games. Hope that helps out. Ive been around the block. "practice MMA."

Fun Fact: In a straight fight (with no devil forms), Ryu can defeat (or at least come to a draw with) Jin Kazama, even if he had not unlearn the Kazauya/Mishima style Karate.
