When I pull it off I feel like I punished a punish. It's just filthy I love it. If I didn't like the filth why would I play Yoshi in the first place, right?

@@ZeroKasa He is incredibly honest but somehow when I win with him I feel like I clowned on someone rather than had a fight. I love this feel. When I lose I feel like I just pissed him off and sucked his life force anyway because he had to fight a Yoshi.

Just remember that all combos ending with Moonsault Slayer (qcf+1) are variable in damage, depending on the opponent's wake up. The ender adds 17 (opponent uses Quick Recovery) to 25 (Tech Roll) damage to the post screw damage. Also be careful and lab your combo, as certain combo routes and screw moves can make it so that the opponent can Quick Recovery or Quick Back Roll to avoid the ender completely. Also, as much as I love the d+2,2 pick up, for Flash/Soul Stealer I recommend either the level 2 or level 3 combo, as d+2,2 whiffes if you're off axis.

@@SlashpLOder It whiffs quite a lot after the low sword sweep, especially after you catch their tech roll which often leaves them off axis.

Flash is part of the reason Yoshimitsu can't really be too good as he kind of breaks some of Tekken's rules. He has a six frame launcher in a game where -9 is the safety threshold, he has actual teleports, "fast", reasonably practical unblockables, and can even heal himself. Luckily, pretty much all of that are gimmicks and not particularly good gimmicks among his many other shortcomings.

I think soul stealer is a move they just added for fun and didnt bother to add its old properties that actually mimicks opponent moves that it had to be fast to react to a move. But now that part became like a self aware game mechanic that just makes yoshimitsu no matter how sheet he is, he still breaks rules on parts you arent familiar with that you still have to be aware and cautious even if he has no good fundamentals

Is there any BNB Guaranteed combo after flash? I find that both f > d, f >2 and d+2,2 tends to whiff sometimes on some angles and characters (mostly with feng for me but I don't know why)

D22 into df12 is pretty easy and stable across most of his combo routes. Add ender of your choice.

@@jinyoon7244 I find that d22 whiffs sometimes as well (like the enemies just drop way too early or it whiffs) on off axis so it’s pretty annoying, I think f n df 2 hits more than d22 after flash

cd2 should never whiff as it is basically homing, but otherwise unless you've traded you can use FLE > FLE 1+2 to pick up and then 3~4u into DGF 4 for screw and finish with f3+4, usually enough to carry to the wall and finish with FLE ff

the star means don’t press any button for a split second then time it with the next command. it takes a few tries to get it
