It's called Distance by the way. It's a very unique racing game, where you're not racing other cars, but instead the stage and time limit. Very unique, in that it incorporates more than just breakneck driving as its core gameplay, you'll see what I mean if you play it. It does some interesting genre melding in a few stages.

Psytrance is mostly a given for AG racers or racing games set in the future. But Tekken's more epic tracks honestly fit any high stakes race.

I've been listening to Fallen Destiny (at that time I refferred to it as "Pave Your Way") as soon as I saw the Tekken 8 trailer myself. It's a banger. Even a year ago I was thinking "I need to use this banger of a song in a music swap video". A bit late on it but I kept my word. So reading your comment really made me smile. Glad you enjoyed the video that much haha.

What most ppl dont know is that, 'my last stand' includes the final boss theme of heat haze from tekken 7

That's what Ridge Racer was made for, the soundtrack for each game was also composed by musicians from the Tekken series and goes extremely hard too

I love Ridge Race! It's one of my childhood games.

Marius, I would like to thank you for showing us such great music, combined with truly spectacular games and gameplay, Split/Second, Redout, the Spark Saga and now Distance were games I never bothered to look at until you showed me what they offered, and for that I am truly grateful. If I could recommend a game that fits the genres of these games, I would highly recommend Thumper, It is basically Redout if it was a rythm game and if the anxiety factor from Split/Second's power plays were added into the mix aswell.

hmm yes this is the kind of music i feel like listening to when my father throws me off of a cliff at 6 years old because i was the devil so i decide to enter a tournament hosted by him to throw him off of a new cliff only for him to be still alive so i decide to reenter the second tournament hosted by him only to get thrown into a volcano yet i still survive so i come back and beat him up and then i wake up in a dojo after being beat up by my son who suddenly turns into the devil and find myself swarmed by a bunch of robots so i beat them up with my father and then betray him so that he explodes in the dojo only for him to not die and then i beat him again but i come back realizing that he hosted another tournament so i beat him again and threw him into a volcano

Well it's officially called Storm Rising.

Tekken is the fighting where I always make sure to turn the tv volume up or put headphones on in the highest volume. The songs are straight bangers.

Good thing I'm not the only one who thinks Storm Rising is an ost suited for racing game.

Tekken 8's OST is epic, phenomenal and much like the rest of the series can easily bring it's energetic hype into other games simply by playing the OST over your other games. We've all done it at some point and it feels phenomenal to do

Tekken music and arcade racers! Truly a match made in heaven! 🙏 And hot damn are your syncs so on point here too! Also, I gotta say, every time you post gameplay of racing games it gives me such a burning itch to play one again. They used to make up 50% of what I played when I was growing up, but that passion fell off pretty hard over time. You really remind me how unequivocally cathartic it is to drive ludicrously fast while adrenaline-pumping music blasts in your ears.

If you hadn't told me this is all from the Tekken soundtrack I would've thought the first track was just some new addition to the Distance soundtrack. It sounds exactly like the rest of the soundtrack! (great game btw, glad you're giving it some attention)

Distance! i loved this game! Wish more people had the same interest in it. Also soundtrack of the game is absolutely what makes it complete as a specimen of futuristic racing genre. And i like it more than OST's in the video IMHO.

Just for the first race, we have the best Tekken 8 OST !

I haven't even played Tekken for years! And I should really get back to it! Well, the only one I've played was Tekken Tag Tournament on the PS2. It was also when I first heard of Tekken. But, that was years ago. And man! Tekken music SLAPS SO HARD!!!

I love Distance and definitely think it deserves more attention - so it's awesome to see someone showing it off! I like the Distance soundtrack, but Tekken 8's fits amazingly well. I honestly forget it wasn't vanilla midway into the first race demonstration lol.

I can say three thing for U 1 : you have good taste in game (racing at least) 2 : you have good taste in music 3 : you play with keyboard on distance also i love your Vid and now i'm trying to find music like this to play Distance thx

I put Moonsiders 1st (Infinite Azure’s theme) to that race in Ready Player One and it went so well

Bandai Namco games have some bomb ass tracks, Tekken and also their in house racing game Maximum Tune etc all have great OSTs

I can see this kind of music being in games like Split Second, Need for Speed The Run or Ridge Racer Unbounded with tons of action alongside the race

Vice versa too. I listen to the Ridge Racer, Gran Turismo, and F-Zero GX soundtracks all the time when playing Tekken and that shit is a vibe.

Glad someone's still playing Distance in 2024...

Im glad i wasn't the only one whose mind went to Distance when hearing the Tekken 8 OST

Into the Stratosphere and Fallen Destiny are straight-up bangers, and they totally fit the setting of the racing gameplay. Gotta admit, the racing looks fun as hell. Maybe I should try this game.
