God I love watching high level Victors getting to use Iai stance mixups like this. Keeps me motivated to get better and rank up to get to those levels where opponents are patient enough so you can establish a mix. Right now it's just a constant mash as soon as you go into Iai and you're forced to play a more basic, fundamental game.

Yup, Victor is hard to make work when people don’t respect anything. You expect them to be conditioned but low level players just can’t be. Stick to your frame traps to get into higher ranks and hopefully you can find yourself having better matches vs people who seek more than mashing at any chance.

Very true, in lower rank playing victor becomes boring very fast just doing same thing over and over again because no one respect anything, just mashing buttons...

CBM is using uf1,1 and IAI 1,1+2 to condition opponents to not mash into his stance. Once they see they'll get punished for countering, they'll start to play more defensively, letting Victor loop back into his stance for even more pressure and opening up the rest of his stance moves
