@@agssilv5919 it's debatable if Jin is even a Mishima he's more of a hybrid leaning more towards Kazama style but playing Jin you'll definitely still need a i14 electric just not as important as say Kazuya or Dvj

@@freshamero3834 easy way to do it on pad is to input the d+df like a qcf but as soon as your thumb hits df press 2 at the same time. Another one is look at your fingers do the input until you get one then compare them each time and get a feel for it. This helps with a normal EWGF for PEWGF the input is different is like Hwoarang's sky rocket

Kazuya is so cool! I’m going into learning him after getting to Garyu rank with Devil Jin in Tekken 8, because I feel like I need to work on my mixups a lot more and work on the more complicated things, like the moves that require the Wind God Step, and since Kazuya has a LOT of moves that require Wind God Step, he’s perfect for that practice

I'm glad he has more interesting combos variations than T7, don't get me wrong, T7 did some really nice things with kaz, but T8 just seems like a more complete Kaz.

every kazuya did 3 electrics into b21 in tk7 but in this game,his combos are just so fun and creative that me and my friends all do different combos with him in the demo

I'm glad people realized he is not a dumbed down Kazuya. 1st impressions of most people incl. TMM were bad. I knew Kazuya have more things going with him despite his changes. He's just T8 kazuya not T7 kazuya.

The main issue with Kazuya at least for me is that no matter how good I get with him, playing is exhausting and I can keep my level to the best max 90 minues, after such time I will start dropping electrics, my wave dash gets sloppy, etc.

Thanks Mainmanswe for all the content for Tekken 7 and now for Tekken 8. I learnt a lot from your guide and you made me a Kazuya main as before I was mainly playing jin but at a very casual level. Best Tekken KZreadr since like forever

in tekken 7 i was saying that "its easier said than done" with sidestepping kazuya's 50/50 moves but the sidestep in 8 is so much better from the demo that i cant really say that anymore(tho he has the demonpaw and also homing moves in general so ofc its not that simple)

Kazuya has been my favourite lore character since forever, and I’ve always wanted to use him but feels like consistently hitting electrics (or perfects for the WS2) is such a blocker. The way you explained the 50/50 and ground game was so eye opening, his 112 punish is awesome and now I see why you be defensive with Kaz and wait to punish and then switch up on the 50/50 offensive! I’ll learn wavedashing too to get better at that

@Krugmatik "id rather you learn to defend against every/most attacks in the game" That's alot harder to do than learning wavedash mixups. That kind of knowledge comes from a lifetime of tekken experience it's not just something you can do that's also universal knowledge that will help you play any character in the game.

@@xbgsheikiii3593 thats what I mean. If you could buffer EWGF on block then I would stfu, but you don't have this, and you don't even have an inferior option to leave you with the basic option and the high skill high reward option. Jin and Devil Jin have can cans AS WELL AS EWGF.

Something worth mentioning is kazuya also has a db1 13 frame mid check that has great reach. It also comes out faster than df1 and has much better range. Can hit confirm into db12 heat engager too but only do this if db1 lands cause db12 is pretty minus!

Also db1 is -10 on block, so you can't really use it as a poke unfortunately.

Kazuya is so fun but hard. His electric takes time to get down then it takes more time to actually use it well in a game while under the pressure. It's a move I tended to throw out more just to say I did an electric which left me open when I didn't do it right or close enough. But I love how simple, cool and powerful his other moves are. Ive done combos dealing 70+ damage with just 4-5 hits only in 7.

They down his combos a bit but I do love his electric strings. There is a lot you can do off ff3 and electric

Kazuya's devil's fist should have a punch parry. He lifts his right shoulder, covers up pre-emptive with his left hand and then also turns away. His body and legs are also too far for counter attack. I wonder if that would be unbalanced?

Very easy combo with good wall travel is 3,1,4 df3,2,1 df1,df2 Also for ws1,2 if you dropping ws1+2 you can just do 1,2,4,3 b2,2,1+2 for easy 60 damage (only 3 less damage) In rage you can do ws1,2 1,2,4,3 1 RA for 75 non recoverable damage

Can you do this video again, but more i depth? Would be sick if you redo every character but deeper in depth

4:18 is there a way to cancel the automatic laser follow up? It does good damage, but prevents you from getting a wallsplat or wallbreak combo which feels very counter intuitive. Even if it is that way on purpose I still think it's weird.

Labbed out Electric with kaz (both sides) for Tekken 7 waiting for 8 and I can now say that 6x EWGF is mad easy.

yes you can but you will be more limited when playing kazuya which will probably be harder than learning the electric imo

I’m new to tekken and wanna learn kazuya and I see that using simple controls gives you 1 button ewgf is the worth it to learn to switch between both modes mid match so you can get electric each time

How do you get the b2 to land after the left splits kick into sidestep 3? I tried multiple times to land this combo but the b2 never connects.

Is it viable to set L1 to special style, so the electric input becomes L1 2 L1. It still allows combos, without any chance of missing the electric. The only problem I see is the flash of the command list.
