Stages being more spread out and have uneven borders in story mode is so cool, im really curious how far they take that design philosophy in the rest of the story set pieces.

Good, my biggest gripe with story mode in T7 is what generally was supposed to be an epic fight lasted all of 5 seconds if you got a big combo in.

@@shirakani Story mode in T7 also had double or more amount. Only on 10-stars would YOU have less health (around 110 points) while opponent would have a big busty 400

For those shaking their head cuz of the damage, its cuz its the story mode which has totally different scaling rules so climactic and important story fights can feel longer and more impactful. I didn't even need to research this, its common sense yet so many people dont see it cuz their 🧠=☠️

@@Steponmeplease-gy8es Hitting cd1 at low wall slump is easy as fuck in tekken 8, the caveat is that the wall scaling system is changed so the throw followup hits at 50% scaling instead of 100% scaling. The only reason this is hard to do in t7is that cd1 has a horrible vertical hitbox.

So despite Devil Jin not being conventionally playable in the demo, I'll still be able to play as him in story mode? awesome! that means I got to play as 5 out of 6 of my favorite characters before the game was even out lol.

Best way to do it is reach the part where Jin transforms, fight Kazuya until he's almost at zero health, go to chapter select, repeat.

Actually, I believe during this part you can even do combos impossible in any other mode, because this version of DVJ is a fusion with regular Jin and has some of his moves. For example, he has Jin's df2 instead of his own, which does nothing on CH anymore.

Bro the demo itself gives us so much to do already its so fun I can’t wait for the full game. It’d be cool if when the full game came out tho, if people with the demo could play online with these restrictions of practice mode and selected characters. So that you can still go online but with just the four characters

Am I the only one not crazy about the sound effects? Like where is that signature sound of the EWGF? It's supposed to be distinct and stand out, and also have Devil Jin's shout. Every sound sounds too similar to all the other sounds. It just feels off. And it feels flat

Easily the best Devil Jin’s combos have been handled on a visual standpoint, couldn’t be more excited to properly try him out on release

They ruined Jin's voice over with the uppercuts, doesn't feel intense anymore. Only Kazuya still has his DORYAH! 👏👏👏

Actually you have to hit, forward, neutral, down, down-forward AND 2 on the exact same frame (1/60th of a second, about 10 times.

@@Tartersauce101 they are seperate characters in the game, its just the story mode dude lol. Its not telling you youre playing as someone different because you were jin 5 seconds ago in this part of the story, its still jin not 100% transformed. In versus mode it will be devil jin seperately

Story mode has 2-3x life compared to normal. It's not scaling. Damage will be fine in normal Vs fights.
