Yeah that second match was crazy

This Hworang was super aggressive but had solid defense and knew when to hold back to bait whiffs. Blocked a lot of hellsweeps and made good use of pokes, counters and plus frames. Solid player.

I've been playing with Hwo since TT1 the more stuff that was added, the more aggressive I became. Fundamentals, Baiting, Character Knowledge, and knowing when to pressure, are definitely the keys to solid Hwo gameplay.

hwoa wasn't even crazy yet, he was just using his fundamentals from tekken 7. No tekken 8 exclusive juggles and setups. solid hwoa player there. imagine what he can do when he gets the hang of tekken 8 mechanics

this hwoarang player is a really fast learner!at 4:01 after ws44 he wasn't in an advantage and devilster predicted that he is gonna press and used uf2 to dodge the next attack but the hwoarang player instantly learn from his mistake and at 6:54 after a ws44 punish he instead sidestep left to sidestep devilster uf2 and launch punished devilster for being predictable in his gameplan and won the match because of it

That hwo won when he clearly has not a strong grasp on T8, he basically was using t7 hwo with some heat 😂, very solid player. And you are showing us how new jin is not the same as before and how much options we have now with him. Great match

This hwoarang player hasn’t played tekken 8 for a long time but u can tell he grounded tf out of 7 tho, he makes good use of whiffs and understands the dynamics of Jin as well as hwoa himself, this guy had to at least have been a tgp or maybe even a ttg in 7

Kinda happy I see this kind of version without all the unneeded extra flash and bright confusing lights alongside the moves. This is what I had a big problem with. Feeling a lot more excited to play now actually

What makes you say that? He was a solid rival for Jin in 3 but now the Mishimas should have far surpassed what he’s capable of unless he under went some massive gains.

This is one of the most intense and satisfying match ive ever seen, the flawless blocks, counters and the fluidity of the match is fcking awesome. Even the fcking intro is synced with the bass drop 9.6/10

I haven't played Tekken in years. Had a blast watching this. My takeaways: very few grabs, which I assume is for a reason. And Hworang did hella damage using the most basic moves. That surprised me.
