Tekken 8 - Bryan Fury Taunt Jet Upper Tutorial

Ойындар

This is my first Tutorial hope this video helps, I know I taught one of my friend's how to do one and he landed his first one on Tekken 7 without having to use Tekken Bot Prime but now we now have something similar so it'll be so much more easier to learn compared to that as everyone can see their mistakes.
- - - - -
Honestly I got bored today and decided to make a video, Most of the clips at the end online were the first week of Tekken 8. So many of them are 720p as the update made rewatching old replays not work.
- - - - -
I hope this helps and inspires most Bryan players out there to Taunt a lot more than usual and be reckless and wild with it.

I managed to do 4 TJU for the first time today after practicing since T7. Bind the taunt button on L2. You should ideally be hitting all the other taunt moves first consistently, especially B4 before TJU practice. The key for me, was paying attention to frame input data on the screen!!! I'll repeat the the frame INPUT data! Pay attention to it, otherwise you will never hit TJU. I used the Dpad STICK for the F1 taunt cancel input (slightest and lightest forward touches. I found it way more difficult on the Dpad to hit the F1 taunt cancel input ( mostly kept showing 2/3 frames on input data with the Dpad). Taunt will NEVER hit unless the F1 taunt cancel is a one frame input. This for me was the most important element to master and focus on. I realised afterwards, I was hitting F1 taunt cancel more consistently on the Dpad STICK! Check your input data and consistently practice the F1 taunt cancel showing one frame. Once you have mastered that and the input data is CONSISTENTLY showing F1 as only one frame, only then move onto practicing B2. I used the Dpad for B2. (You can set LP/RP on R1 trigger button and use this for the 2 input, I found this easier than using 2 on the actual pad), Enough practice ( hours, maybe days), you should eventually hit one. Hopefully you will then understand the total input and timing required a little better after a few successful TJU's. Hitting it in real matches may take you a while however 😂😉

I don't think there's a flick for B4 it's basically a just frame, 28 frames, B+4, you could try to press 4 before the Back input or have a feel for the gate, I honestly struggle with B4 than TJU haha.

Taunt Jet Upper was so much easier in Tekken 5, Bryan Fury didn't get the Jet Uppercut until Tekken 5, and Taunt was always a thing since 3, I think it was +18 frames in the OG version and DR nerfed it to be +17 frames until Tekken 6 arrived and it was only +16 frames, I think Jet Upper was 13 frames in Tekken 5 and later nerfed down the line to 14 frames.

You just have to get them to respect you by 1 or 1,2 jabbing them all the time until they calm down, once you see them trying to back up at the wall you can shoot your shot, also a taunt can interrupt a Heat too so they can't use Heat to get out of a Taunt set up.

I do it on PS4 pad. You just gotta be quick and practice doing a perfect jet upper first (forward, neutral, back + 2 on the same frame). Press fowrard than quickly slide your finger to back, and press 2 while sliding to back to get b2 in one frame. After that comes the easier part, you gotta learn taunt timing so you can execute your inputs the on the frame that taunt connects
