The addition of the Aerial Tailspin moves in Tekken 8 is a nice feature for the combo structure of the game

Claudio got one so i can assume all character will get one. If not Character who speciallize in combos like Lars or Kazuya. Kazuya need a spin move to get more damage he has always been a damage beast if you have the execution so having one would boost his damage tho Kaz is a hard case cuz he already hit quite hard with the df1df2 buff

It's pretty disappointing that not everyone has it, and some requires heat to do it. Also, Law's DS~3 is an old tailspin animation, which is harder for aircombos since the opponent moves farther away.

Does Jun not have one? I’ve been trying to figure out if she does but haven’t come across it yet

most shaheens don’t even use that nowadays i use it all the time just due to how difficult while standing 3 cancels are. That being said a lot of shaheens fillers are unreliable like sometimes it won’t hit for whatever reason like they need to adjust the hit boxes. also, after shaheens while standing 2, if you delay the first hit it will still pick up but you can add more filler if the first hit does not connect. AK used that a lot in combo breaker i didn’t even know it was possible. The delay is so long it doesn’t look like an actual combo but it’s guaranteed. shaheens combo damage overall is low compared to others just due to how hard a lot of his routes are, requires a ton of stealth step cancels, the while standing 3 ones being most optimal for stage carry but it’s so hard i dont even bother going for it. It’s quite possibly the hardest combo in the game if you are trying to get 3 reps. If you mess up it will either drop or you’ll get his stealth step 3 which is the kick flip move which means you just traded sides with the opponent. Most of shaheens bnbs without the while standing 3 loops or numerous stealth step cancels will only get you 65 to 70 max.

sometimes i throw f2,4,4 out to end rounds cause he doesn’t have a lot of lows, that being said its not a natural string so even if the second hit connects unless it’s a counter hit they can easily duck it. a lot of shaheens moves are duckable after the first hit and steppable. i view shaheen as more of a kazuya type character you are relying heavily on oki mix ups 50/50s etc except shaheens ideal distance is much closer than kazuyas you want to be right next to your opponent or about 1 to 1.5 character length away

@@RichiePajooh-r8i what are you talking about lol ws3 cancels are so easy and all my combos get a minimum of like 75 damage even on an open stage with a hopkick, his wall combo is very good and if you dont learn ws3 cancels you are doomed. Shaheen has a lot of good lows, his d3 is amazing, it leaves him in crouching or stealth step giving you an instant slide mixup, speaking of which, slide is an amazing move and definitely the best low in the game hands down. That alone makes shaheen S tier. As you said, F2,4,4 is only good on inexperienced players. He can however enter stealth step from f2,4df which provides you with a lot of pressure. You have to know how to do an instant slide, which is holding DOWN then pressing FF then 3. His combo damage is not even close to being low if you use ws3 cancels and fc df2 as a combo ender on open stages. When I first started playing shaheen I used a basic easy combo which had really low damage (I used 4,1 4,1 f2,3 as combo filler) but you gotta branch out and learn ws3 cancels. you dont have to do the hardest combo ever, the one I use is d2, 4,1, df4,1 db~n ws,3 and if you are unsure you can bound with the first ws3,3 but eventually you can do 1 ws3 cancel and finish with another one. You can do a maximum of 1 ws3 cancel before you have to bound with this combo. Bound with ws3,3 and no cancels to begin with. Eventually, after continuing to practice you will get it down in a couple of weeks time. I could do an infinite amount of ws3 cancels in just about 2 months practice. If you are looking to learn ws3 cancels then one thing that might suprise you is you need to get a certain amount of hits in before you can start ws3 cancelling, so its not like lee's b2. After a bound on an open stage I use fcdf2 into ff3 which deals a lot of damage, or I do uf3 for oki as it guarantees b4 on opponents who dont quick stand. Or I do a d3 after uf3 which I can go into slide mixup with. On wall stages if im close to one I do 4,1 for wall carry but if it isnt then I either activate heat or do an open stage combo ender. If im close to a wall I sometimes use f2,4,4 as it works the same as lees b2,4,4 and the last hit doesnt count for the wall combo. If I need the max wall carry on a combo with a lot of hits I do a ws3 into snk2. You have to get really close to the bounded opponent. I do also use f2,4,4 as a combo filler because it does have the difficulty of needing to time your ff3 to bound it, and I like a bit of difficulty in my combos. That combo would be d2, 4,1 f2,4,4 ff3. Imo shaheen is not comparable to kazuya who isnt as bare bones, shaheen has a lot less steppable moves and doesnt rely on 50/50s as much, despite having some of the best in the game. Shaheen is mostly poking and mind games

Lili's aerial tailspin would be alot more effective and easier to utilize if her lashing iris move wasnt tied to the ff input. Its literally so strict to use since the game doesnt suit ff inputs well when performed immediately after a previous move. I wish the input was like u1+2 or something
