Paul had it rough mind you he was gonna enter a tournament however The tournament, however, would be suspended with the disappearance of its organizer. Paul received barely a fraction of the fight money he had been counting on, plunging him into a life of destitution. All he could do was take a gamble that the next tournament would be able to provide him with sufficient compensation. To that end, he promised to split his next winnings with his good friend and sparring partner, Marshall Law. The pair holed up in the mountains for an intense training session in order to prepare for the tournament.

Law is perhaps the one that got the best makeover in my opinion. He looks considerably different (but great), yet completely recognizable.

As a Law main, it's awesome, yet still slight, but the MOST needed. Law's T7 outfit was literally and easily the most lazy change from T6. The only character to have zero change in his default costume. Just red pants or yellow pants. While every other character came into T7 with enhanced swag 🙄🤦🏿 bout damn time, but they could still do more than just keeping him shirtless. The Chinese/chef gear from prior Tekkens were great for Law. They're finally on the right track with my guy but they can do better and I hope they keep doing so.

To be fair, most of the characters were using t4 and t5 base models with very little changes but T8 from what I can see and tell they used brand new models for them.

@korvus1248 sir, what were you expecting for them to be whole new people? They still have to keep the appearance they have been playing since T3 and let me tell you there was no change in the character models since T4 to T7 they all just looked the same with some slight and I mean very slight alterations T8 so far has done a pretty good job giving a lot of these characters much needed details the only characters I think didn't change at all was the bears

Jin and Lily se ven maravillosos. Super cool

King may not have the most dramatic change, but it is by far my favorite of them all. The Inca/Aztec motifs ground King to his Mexican roots. I LOVE IT!

And the chest adornments on the cape really complete the look, before it felt like the cape was tacked on King, but now he has a cape befitting for a true king

I really like how Nina's new outfit has touches of her Tekken 2 purple outfit. That was my favorite one 💜

That Unreal 5 lightening is a definite improvement. I also like the new focus on more outdoor sunlit environments.

I love the design, but they messed up Claudio's pose. He looks stiffer now, more awkward. I think they made him a bit shorter too.

I was also upset to see not much variation in animation. It probably comes with have a shit ton of characters, but at the same time it seems like they’ve been using similar ones throughout the whole series

I swear everytime I see Paul in tekken 8, makes me wish the game was out so I can go straight into the customization and change that shit back to the hightop. Or the biker cut with the bandana. Wish they would bring back the long hair with the middle part that he had in tekken 4. That shit was my favorite for real.
