A couple of tidbits and stuff: The last hit of 1,2,1 is a CH launcher, though it's not very likely to CH someone in a match qcf+3 launches on CH at tip range instead of going into the attack throw, pick up with WS+4 Shame you didn't mention d/b+2,1,2, it's not a bad string The better way of landing f+3 after S! is to do a dash into f+3+4, which can be made easier by using button buffering. Better f+1+2 combo: exchange the f+2,4 for qcf+2 for 1 more point of damage . This works after any S! launcher (CH (b+1),2, CH (4),4, CH (WS+1),2 and CH (f+3),2). I also prefer doing 4,1 instead of d+4,4 at the end as it gives much better oki for only 2 fewer points of damage. b+3 is a good i14 punish option by the wall WS+1+2 should be mentioned, it has much better range than WS+1,3 Also, absolutely love your music choices in this.

Thank you very much for all this! Yes we really wanted to include an analysis of d/b+2,1,2, but at 18 minutes we were already pushing the time limit for what we're trying to achieve with this series. All this information will certainly be in the complete breakdown though.

Definitely thanks for the feedback! I can fill in a few things here: the full-length guide has a lot of this(I go into 1,2,1 in pretty high detail there for example, b+3 by the wall, etc)-but for short guides like this I admit I struggled trying to figure out what to keep and what to save for the full-length(and this one still pushed almost 18 minutes! compared to Jack.) It was tough to be sure, but I had decided that the more intricate stuff(and more detailed stuff) would be gone into heavier in the big future five-parter(you can see the big guide in the description link at Tekken Zaibatsu.) Generally for combos I was picking simpler staples for a beginner so I didn't go into the total most optimized setups and went more for bang-for-buck BnBs that can get a brand new person started. So it was sorta down to trying to pull the 'keep it simple' method and it was pretty painful figuring what to mention and what to cut, but in hindsight a couple more of these things should have been mentioned. That being said, they will be all mentioned in the giant full length(and then we tend to take more feedback for the big all-in one at the end!) Again thanks for the feedback! Just wanted to go a little into the thought process for trying to figure out what to keep for essentials/save for the big full-length.

Nice vid!! I would like to share a small tip about dashing in to use f+3 crouch dash cancel to catch your opponent when they had been lauched far from you after a screw move: HOLD DOWN 3 before starting the dash. Since there is no f+3+4 move on Dragunov's move list, the game will allow you to tripple dash avoiding the f,f+3 situations and letting you reach your opponent with the f,3 crouch dash cancel. Example: qcf+1 / f+4,4,3 / 1 / f+3, d/f, u, 1 / f+1+2 S! / (HOLD 3) f,f,f+4 (REALEASE 3) d/f, ws 1+2 Yes, theres is no mistake, you have to hold down 3 and use the 4 instead for the f+3 command. As I mentioned, the game will detect f+3 the same way since there is no move related to this command on Dragu's move list and also prevent the f,f+3 situations if your opponent went too far after the screw move. EDIT: Take a look at LOVELAIN video on his channel and pay attention to move notations on the screen, you'll see what I'm talking about! :D Hope it helps!

With getting the step kick as a follow up, if you hold 3 after doing your screw move, then dash up and press forward 4, you will always get the step kick. This is button buffering, and it works because dragunov doesn't have a forward anything 3+4 move, so you can literally press forward forward forward 4 while holding 3 to get the stepkick. Just some handy tips to make it easier

Also you have to press less buttons: fff instead of ffbf, assuming you're using buttons for 1+2, 3+4. If you're not using them, well, you should start. That's a secret TZ Discord tech btw. Hey Guys. I have a question to dragunov, but my English isnt the best. Maybe someone can help me. When you do the qcf2 Launcher, it happens really often that you miss with f4,4,3. You to to use f4,4,3 really early, but most of the time the enemy will be pushed to high in the air, so the 2nd or 3th hit will miss. Can pls anyone help me out?

Sorry for the late comment but that means it's a counter hit. Counter hit attacks changes sone properties. That's why your opponent is sometimes too high in the air.

Sure thing. Both are very well balanced characters with tools for nearly all situations. Jin is more defensive, while Dragunov is more offensive. In terms of who pro players generally agree to be stronger, Dragunov has a slight edge, but just play who you like and feel comfortable with.

I usually throw iWR2 after the opponent throw a move that gives them 0 to -7. for new players want to practice iWR moves, try doing qcf+2 then iWR2 if it hits, youre doing it correctly.

I thought CD into ws4 after CH wr2 was the staple combo? And d/b 2,1,2 is good wall combo as the last hit hits grounded if delayed slightly for more damage. Also 1,3,2 as a wall combo gives good damage oki too.

Krish Bhalla I wish especially if its 13f execution. Stagger when hit, counter or guard. Track both sides, Plus 20 when hit 25 when counter. Sadly it isn't 😂😂😂

Maurice: Thanks! Paul is in the works. Krish: Deathfist is launch punishable on block by a decent chunk of the cast unless done at tip range, in which case you run the risk of it getting backdashed and again launch punished. Even if you lack a decent block punisher, it's very weak to SSR. Not denying it's an amazing move with a crazy comeback factor, but it does have weaknesses and can be very risky.

That Blasted Salami Exactly...trying to hit on the tip is risky too. A little but back dash it's gone...Totally 50:50 kind of character

Yes. The changes to Drag are mostly for his lows like d+2 where they reduce the Frame recovery of oppenets on block

Actually you can buffer f3 dash by holding 3 or 4 while running then press f3+4. It is easier than tapping back in the middle of the combo.
