Starting to main and grind learn steve and this is by far one of the best combo videos i’ve seen, and the notations without those stance notations makes it hella lot easier to read props to you bro 💪🏻💪🏻 couldn’t get through notations that have peekaboo, duck, Sway, weave l&r, flicker and all written on them

Excellent video, really manage to get as much info in a short period of time. Just one commentary, I think it's confusing the notation of one screw attack. At 1:17 the combo starter says f3,2 and the screw attack also says f3,2. I think that screw attack should be f3,f2. Whoever, great job with the video, really good material.

and on another note, it took me at least 4 hours to get that i can hold onto backwards to do the full quick spin combo consistantly. following the default buttons made me think that my problem was that the the jab followed by the back stance was wrong. what was actually wrong is that i was pressing 3+4 too early. + the window for doing exactly what the combo says makes it extreeemely hard to press back on the exact right time as 3+4. sometimes i hate unclear tut like these.

Hi ! First thanks for this tuto. Nevertheless I'm a newbie and I've to admit that I have difficulties with 8 hits combos. For instance about 0:36 combo, my second "sonic fang" move doesn't hit my opponent. Everytime he's too far although I'm pretty sure to make a quickly dash so as to get closer. +Golden2Talon The input says "1,d+1" but you can do d+1,1 and it will register the same

He may lack kicks but I find Steve’s fluidity to be very therapeutic.

0:25 Bro I can't just can't hit that right punch. As far as I know u have to duck f2 like in a blink but no matter how fast I do. It doesn't connect. Is there some trick or keys that help pulling it fast instead trying the way I told above.

At this point 0:46, after the brackets, the jerk starts too late, is the 2017 video still relevant? What am I doing wrong for two days already sitting I can't do it too late the spurt starts. If you press quickly, the target flies away, no input occurs at all, if slower, I dash, but I do not have time to catch up with a blow, the enemy is already falling by that time.

The dash must be very quick, almost like it's one move together. FF, df+1+2. Try to practice the timing against a standing opponent

What does the brackets mean?

i'm new to tekken and i try to do the first one, but i cant make the last attack of the combo, in the video the legs of the guy are infront of you, in my case it's the head infront of me, maybe i'm too slow but i feel i did correct, maybe they changed something ?

The very first one? If you're following the notations correctly the combo should work like in the video. After the F3+1 make sure you're hitting the DF1(2+1) properly, the animation should look like Steve jabs with his left and curls his arm a little to jab again, and make sure you hold Back to enter Flicker. In flicker make sure you hit 1 and hold the down button when you hit 1 for the second time. If you're new to tekken I don't recommend Steve though you should try learning the fundamentals on an easier character first

I have so much problems hitting the B+1, F+2 mid combo (the second combo breakdown fxp). IS there something I'm missing? I feel like I can't hit it faster, Steve almost instantly dashes and hits the two after the back one but it never hits, the opponent falls

Not sure if you already figured this out but the notation is wrong. You need to hold b after b1 to transition into FLK then f3 into DUC 2.

at 0:53 , after pressing back+2, going into the back stance mode and going for the 1, down+1 sometimes i find myself a bit late to hit it on. any other way than doing it faster by training? some tricks that can cancel the animation i dont know of? please tell.

There is specific timing to it (not too strict), the timing is in the recovery of b+2, so a good way to practice this is by going into training mode and doing b+2, and mashing 1 (jab) afterwards, take note of how long it takes Steve to jab, and apply that to the combo. b+2 is unsafe on block so keep in mind it takes Steve slightly longer to recover from this move, just take note of the recovery animation and continue with b+3+4, d+1,1

Im not enterely sure of how im supposed to look at this. in 0:10 you show the three different ways of entering the combo ( i guess) and then, i follow up by the combo in the middle. Hte first two things easy, no problemo,, but the df1 thing followed by the two one, how am i supposed to do that, like, what is the meaning of the [ ], hold them together? Either of them?

When you see the inputs in the brackets like that [ ] it means you press those buttons quickly after each other. Almost like a piano. So for this input: DF1 [2,1] You press DF1, then press 2 and 1 quickly

I can't get the 0:23 part b 1 f 2 (that's a duck-in stance move), how do you get the b 1 dck f 2 that fast
