This was the last Tekken game where Daisuke Gori voiced Heihachi, he has been Heihachi since Tekken 3, i really miss his role, so unfortunate he passed away just the next year this game came out in console.

He didn't just 'pass away' like from cancer. He straight up committed suicide because he was losing his sight from diabetes and he was afraid of getting fired if people found out about it.

Lol f+4 is a more important for Hei than it is for Kazuya tbh, because Hei is a character who should always stay close to the opponent and pressure the opponent, and f+4 is vital for Heihachi to break turtles. Not saying it isn't important for Kazuya, but Heihachi definitely benefits more from it.

The loss of b+2 bugged me to no end. That's one of Heihachi's biggest defining moves, you can't just take it away!

After playing a bit in Tekken 6 I can say that the second hit of the hellsweep is not a true -14, he can still block everything afterward

Heihachi did however have his rajin 1,2 with guaranteed d+3 worked amazing when people used Spring kick. He wasn't terrible tbh but he definitely is way better in t7 and has many more viable options.

I demand his Tekken 6 b+1,4 back. He has b+4, it’s not like his tracking potential would be soured by sacrificing the tracking on b+1 if it meant getting a high-low string. Also you should have mentioned that because his Flash Punch was the only one that could cause wall splat, he couldn’t hit confirm the second hit of it like every other Mishima. Didn’t like that because it meant I couldn’t toss them out in the neutral like I would with Kazuya or Devil Jin and make opponents wary of getting a hit-confirmable 10f knockdown. It reduced it purely to a punish for my playstyle (it was technically hit-confirmable off the first hit but that’s considerably more fiddly than confirming off the second).

Just a correction, though heihachi's 1,1,2 did wallsplat, it was not hit confirmable

Important: generic d4 is NOT launch punishable, it's usually -12. It was the go-to low for Heihachi, like JDCR showed us in TTT2. The launchable one is FCd4, same animation but -15 on block.

PS3 emulation isn't very stable nor accurate: the PS3 CPU was server-grade hardware in 2006 essentially.

@@RobbeSeolh PS3 emulation has actually improved a lot. There's footage of Tekken 6 running on RPCS3 and it looks amazing, look it up. TMM is definitely using that emulator, that's why some effects are missing.

emulation inaccuracy, the ps3 emulator isn't very accurate. ps2 emulation is easier and more stable.

Tekken 3 and 4 hei is prime to me. I like the serious feeling gameplay of t4. T4 hei is more potent in 4 than 5 to me

As a Zafina main im going to try to do this Zafina had one of the worst frames on hit/block in Tekken history *-7 on a CH low poke* her d1 was a 15 dmg mid poke -16 on block and -8 on hit GODDAMIT and *db+4 d is a low -12 on HIT* She lacks good tools (no 15f standard launcher) bad strings (easy duckables or interruptables) bad punishers (10f garbage dmg only +1 on hit her 14f was +9 with TOO much pushback) really SLOW moves that hurts her mind game potential Very High risk/poor reward extremely hard and situational gameplay (3 stances with 90% of unsafe moves) Basically Zafina was an unfinished and poorly balanced bottom tier character in tekken 6. in tag 2 she had big buffs and still she is low mid tier.

Bruce's d4 was crazy good because it was 13 f that did 16 dmg. I believe it was one of the best lows in this game, can't be even compared to Heihachi's db2.

It sucks that the Mishima characters were lack luster in T6.

Lord Dio!, yea Jin was op in t3 and t4. but t3 Jin gets a pass because he looked like a badass and his moves was so badass. I really like how he uses the Mishima style fighting in t3 too. imagine if he kept that same fighting style in t4 man that woulda been epic

It's a shame how they went from great new fighters every game like Steve in T4, Feng and Raven in T5, and Miguel, Bob, Leo and Lars in T6 to the extremely shitty T7 inclusions like Gigas, Katarina, Claudio, Josie, Eliza or Chloe (this last one maybe the least bad of the bunch). Bring back the awesomeness Namco please.

Sadly, that doesn't change the fact that she's a character that does not feel like it fits in the Tekken lore/tone. They could have used that roster slot for Jun, Kuni or Michelle.

@@jk844100 I think he means that Eliza fighting style doesn´t fit tekken tone. The fact that she has meter and projectiles makes her look more like a 2D character instead of a tekken character. In fact i think Namco created her in tekken revolution to test how akuma would work in a tekken game.

man you dont know what you talking about. i can beat an opponent in less than 5 seconds using a special sequence of moves. tekken 6 heihachi is NOT broken. you just dont know how to use him.
