This is NOT the PlayStation 3/RPCS3,Xbox 360, or PSP version of the game, this is actually the real arcade hardware. Finally, some high quality Tekken 6 Vanilla arcade gameplay Devil Jin!!!
This is the original version of Tekken 6 released in arcades, as you can probably notice, it’s a lot different from the later Bloodline Rebellion update. Some noticeable differences I do see is that the graphics look so much sharper and better looking than the BR version (and I thought that looked amazing!), no motion blur or filter, which can make some moves look a bit off.
I’m recording the actual HDMI video and audio output from the Namco system 357 hardware which is based on the PlayStation 3.
Tekken 6 originally released in 2007 in arcades but one year later, the game got an update in the form of Tekken 6 bloodline rebellion which gives us two new characters: Alisa and Lars. The first true HD Tekken game for the arcades! The home ports were also based on this update. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 ports were released in 2009 while the PlayStation Portable version was released in 2010. This is the Japanese version with All.Net character data for ghost battles.
I did use a new video editing and upscaling program as I wanted to try something different, I do like the new results and if anyone is wondering, I’m using DaVinci Resolve 18 (Free Version) for now on, highly recommend this software, the free version is great!

This is a rare game video! You may be the only one currently able to upload videos to this game. If it's not rude, could you upload arcade clear videos of all the characters in Tekken 6 original?
Can you please show us how do we use data cards to customize and record status? I have Tekken 6 data cards but I never saw them being used.
Back when his hellsweep was a natural launcher. BR turned it into a CH launcher.
Now I wanna see how BUSTED Kazuya is in this version

Hey, just wanna say where did you managed to get this arcade board? Like how did you manage to find the vanilla version of Tekken 6? I'm looking to get one of these myself.
Devil Jin old stuff: his human form's ws2 a LAUNCHING twin pistons his hellsweep does a proper bound like in tag 2 old f4 it is not seen here but I think his laser scraper is a launcher instead of a knockdown airborne opponents won't backroll when hit by a laser I'm not sure if his 1,1,2 wall splats

can you do electric easier with a controller like the one on ps4/5 or is it easier with an Arcade Stick?
OK, 6.0 Azazel is SOOO much better than Bloodline Rebellion Azazel. WHY DID THEY CHANGE IT? STONE TABLETS COMING OUT THE GROUND IS BETTER THEN CRYSTAL SPIKES. Also, I prefer 6.0 Azazel's design and vs screen image.

I really wish the OG Tekken 6 was ported for PS2, while the Bloodline Rebellion update was released of PS3 (becoming the Tekken 6 home version we got).

I think OG Tekken 6 is not good enought for PS2 port based on the graphic.

I mean, it could have definitely been done if they downscaled the graphics. That’s what they ended up with Tekken 6 on the PSP later on. I assume they didn’t go through with it as the PS3 was already out and they probably wanted to fully develop the story before putting the game on console.

that wouldve been weird, but HD was all the rage back then, and it woudnt have had online... even though ps2 did get gow 2 on ps2 when ps3 was out

It wouldn’t have been too weird. The PS2 was still fully supported years after the PS3 had launched. There were still plenty of PS2 games coming out in 07 and 08. Even though HD was the new big thing, it did take time for people to fully adopt HD consoles. I guess at the end of the day, Bamco ultimately decided to wait it out and make the PS3 port with all of the features it ended up having.
