The PS2 era of Tekken is the most special one for me. I spent so much of my life around Tekken during that time and it will always be near and dear to my heart. This mod brought back all those memories where I would play T5 all day on the weekends to get my characters to Tekken Lord in Arcade Mode. ❤

Tekken 5 just had the best story arcade mode. 10 fights and you learn enough from a character. The 4th or 5th fight were the best for me, cause you fight against the rival/friend.

He still has it, you can use it in Chapter 14 when HEI powers up. d/f+1, 1+2 is the input. But beware it's -27 on block lol

Honestly I prefer the games having bound/screw combos. Makes things cooler looking, but I do agree damage is high because of these juggle mechanics. But anyways this just isn't hype for me cause the big part of Tekken 5 was the movement tbh.

Damage has always been high. Look up any high level T5DR matches and you'll see games last just as long or are even shorter.

@@Blin93Ky scaling was different thats why combos were high damage without bound/screw but i do believe bound was a harder mechanic to balance due to it being able to be used at the wall

@@ikedatike2533 It's because Harada not only added the typical new characters as per usual, but also brought back several old characters previously thought to have been killed off by Ogre or just removed in general. In addition to newcomers Asuka, Raven, Feng Wei, Devil Jin, Lili, and Dragunov, Wang Jinrei, Ganryu, Bruce, Jack, Anna, Baek Doo San, Armor King and probably some others I'm forgetting.

You can easily remake tekken 5 with tekken 7 assets. It’s literally all there besides a few costumes, music and stages.
