This is the watered down version of Jinpachi In the PS2 the last move can be executed with B+1+2 while here the playable version requires timing, in the console version it can be done at will and spammed The hated moves is a result of AI attack script combined with the reading imput script executed when perfoming patterns, as i've tested the practice mode and i've seen Jinpachi automatically moving when i did certain moves. Example, always in practice mode i was knocked down after a move and when i pressed 3 to kick Jinpachi down and automatically he (as training dummy) automatically executed the stun move and supercharged. if i tried to approach and attack Jinpachi, he would teleport automatically and use the fireball attack or use the stun move + dragon uppercut. The devs were lazy and programmed not only an AI that could read your imputs, but also prevent the moves the instant you pressed the buttons. same thing happens when you face the ai and you try to attack they randomly crouch and punch you interrupting your moves

@@arbiteras In the PS2 version merely crouching negates that stun move. I knew something was fishy about not getting the chance to block it often though.

It puts you back in the standing move, and also even if you luckily negate the stun, Jinpachi will do teleport + fireball (double if you're unlucky) that hits special mid (broken, that hits also while crouching) Jinpachi was broken by a dumb idiot called Harada

Because that would be even more broken, imagine that he could do the Lightning Screw Uppercut move after you are stunned, 60% of health away or him spamming the Spinning Demon and Iron Fist.

@@morbidwolf94 And the Geta Stomp. Also, generally, him and Kazuya in particular share a couple of moves: The same right roundhouse kick, and even a throw (the Steel Pedal Drop - Jinpachi's version is called something else, but it's more or less, the same), for example.

Jinpachi was the *Bane* of Tekken 5 & for good reason when he debuted as the overall Boss Sponsor for this game on PS2 & later PSP later on. Not Only was he *Super Savage & Cheap* to fight against (which he was) but he was also self aggro'ed. (see Max Dood's Boss Rage of this game's DR Online port run to know more about that) but the worst he had on his moveset was *that fireball* move (which he could shoot out in a big blast or rapid delay it in 5 sets before unleashing it, not only did it do big damage when it hit u, it also stundowned u until u got back up, he also owned a busted stunpalm move which was his go to block crusher) luckyly though in the canon lore of it's story, Jin would be the 1 to face & topple him in the end.

In Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection is now Jinpachi free for this chraracter it is from the spirits. Also Jinpachis spirit was now Jinpachi it looks from Tekken 5.

I was expecting Jinpachi to have a pretty baller moveset considering how cheap he is in TTT2... but this isn't as crazy overpowered as I was expecting. At least he still has some good stuff to use.

After snooping around, I found his d/b+2 lets him get these weird semi-bound combos that are stupid easy to do and have NO damage scaling. Okay. He's still busted.

That stomp that stuns is uber cheap but there's a way to shake out faster. I know it exists but I never bothered learning how to do it. The first Jinpachi you could ever use in Tekken 5 with shark codes never let you do his multi fireball unless it's still a hidden move inout but I sort of doubt that. Tekken fans are quick to find that sort of stuff.

captain here: this is Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection online, which is basically an HD release for ps3 and 360(?) based off the upgraded arcade version of TK5. In this game you can unlock Jinpachi as a playable character, and there are 2 new characters (Lili, Dragunov) and also Armor King.

@@ShinAkuma but Jinpachi is still unplayable in port and he doesnt have Nebula strike and the ws+2 and df+2 in PS3 are opposite in Port. Thats why its hard to do the Rising Uppercut in Port

Only with Action Replay, yes. Normally, no. It's impossible to get him normally in the usual way (play story mode with different characters, unlock characters).

This game is only playable on PS3/PSP. If you want this game then you must find an emulator named PPSSPP on your PC, and download that, along with the ROM (.iso) of this game.

Lame that he only has one-hit moves. Interesting that he has one of Paul's moves. Paul does traditional Karate, I guess that only part of Jinpachi's style even though he 'Mishima-ed' it

There is lol. This is the most effective way to delete an opponent. upon enemy attack b+1/2, f+3/4+1/2, d+1 to crouch, while rising+1, f/2+1+12. Jinpachi is a broken character with overpowered moveset dealing 25 to 60 damage, thats why sample combos isnt needed for him even tho there where lots of em

Jinpachi is only available in the PS3 version of Tekken DR. However you can use him in the PSP version through cwcheat or if you're using PPSSPP. Pretty much you already know it right?
