Man I remember playing tekken 4 at the bowling lane back in the day and my first introduction to the tekken series.

I made this comment on another video he does look way more human and his legs are in proportion to his height as they should have always been.

They re-animefied the proportions in later games

Woow Marduk's tackle was a minigame back then! This game sure had some cool ideas

Had a reversal one too.If your opponent wanted to end it early,he can hit 1+3/2+4 to grab Marduk's arm to cut it short BUT if the Marduk player knew this,he could input 1+3 for example and Marduk will do a chicken of some sorts resulting in a grab to counter your opponents "get off me" attempt LOL Chicken in that game was hella weird,like the one where you can reverse the figure four leg lock King does back on him and "chicken" is screamed out LOL

I miss the obstacles and the different heights on the grounds. And being able to move around before the fight starts. And the narrators voice.

This game was awesome when it came to story, character design and music. Maybe it was because I was younger but this game felt really special

Panda slapping Marduk into the ceiling is as realistic as Tekken can get

That time when the characters were not overmuscular nor oversexualized , the stages were also awesome and creative . I miss that time.

@@dragonslayercorx the Fundoshi is actually a traditional Japanese underwear men used to strip down to it during hot sunny days when they work it's kind of funny looking but it means that heihachi means business in his own antique way

Tekken 4 and 5 are my favourite Tekken games of the Franchise. ☯️ By the way Tekken 4 had the best story and atmosphere no doubt. Also my favourite Tekken Intros of the series are 4 and 5. Especially Tekken 4, developers did a lot of things incredibly right, most storylines were incredibly cool and the atmosphere and seriousness was just on a another level. I don't think most would disagree that Tekken 4 had a great"everything-except-the-fighting" to it. Great and Epic soundtracks, unique character designs, good individual stories, and an interesting main Mishima arc revival. The thing is that it's still a fighting game and no matter how great everything else is, if the fighting bit is flawed it'll overshadow the positives. ☯️✌

@Baby gimme Feet and you noticed this so called "terrible gameplay" in 2001 when social media didnt tell you what to think ? LOL you were playing the game casually in 2001 and probably had no concept of competitive play...people on the internet need to STOP giving retroactive opinions of games they were never around to play during that time lol

No is just the game itself.. The game plays so slowly is probably slowest movement in the series, I guess they were trying mimic the lively and realistic movement like an actual fight it failed horribly! Personally for me I like it..

Tekken 4 had the best stages

I love TK4 so much actually my personal favorite TK game in the series but, Come on Namco why you gotta nerf the combo damage so bad at 9:47 when he landed B,1 and did a 3 hit combo last hit didn't register the damage in this game is so bad might as well do pokes! Lol
