@9192631770 H Hm I dont know about that. Yes she looks very small here next to Paul but Julia was always one of the smaller characters in the franchise. And Paul is pretty tall. She's actually pretty much average sized compared to the other females. She only looks so small due to her idle animation. Nina for instance looks slightly taller than Julia in-game. However, she is actually way smaller than Julia lore wise.

No, it hasn't gotten easier with *every single* iteration of Tekken, just going from Tekken 4 to the original Tekken 5 (when the requirement for two just-frame inputs was removed) and from TTT2 to Tekken 7 (when the just-frame requirement for the string was removed altogether).

Yeah, in T4, it was so goddamn hard, but then in T5, I think they added more frames of leniency because I can do it easily, same with T6 and Tag 2, I'm honestly saddened that T7's DM is simplified, the just frames made him more difficult.

I can land even blue spark version consistantly back then. The key is to hit 2 when d4 just about to hit the leg, and press 1+2 just before the elbow hit. The good thing about demoman here is that you can keep spamming it even when enemy block d4 and its safe when the elbow jf hit even when you failed to land the 1 or 1+2.

There were also JF's that were later removed like Lee's 1,2,4:4 JF, Heihachi's Diamond Hellsweep and the infamous Jin JF Laser Scraper. Tekken 4 introduced quite a lot of new JFs to the series as well as other interesting things like Nina's Hayashida and Law's DSS stance and transitions.

You really have to watch the screen to see when he's making contact at each point. From there it's just down to muscle memory. It's definitely not reliable for a real match, let alone a combo, but it's also not mega-impossible either.

I don't know whether any of you have seen it but Adrian has since released a video on Tekken 4 King. In it, he talks about the hitbox issues with ff1, how it was duckable by smaller members of the cast despite being a mid. In addition, having perused Tekken Zaibatsu's frame data for Tekken 4 King, I would make a more general point about his mids being useless, as well as about how King just wasn't suited to the poke-heavy, rushdown-oriented, up-close-and-personal game that was Tekken 4. To be fair, Adrian did allude to the latter when he referred to how King wouldn't do too well under pressure. I would add that he's never been great at applying pressure of his own either. Both of these were constants with King that hurt him more in Tekken 4 than they have in any other game.

Hi, I believe you're exaggerating a bit... Indeed move was HARD but not so impossible / completely useless. A friend of mine who skilled really Paul was able to throw this (with sparks) sometimes even during normal fight, and especially for wall hit ender it was really cool. I personally think a more challenging JF at that time were all Heihachi's TGFs variants like Diamond(? AFAIK), Saffire, Omen (also pretty much useless though). I remember I hit them once in the tournament, but in fact, it was more luck than skill xD. @TheMainManSWE - maybe next episode about this move? ;)
