eh, online upkeep is a thing. the servers for fighting games are dogshit for the amount of speedy input required but servers still cost money to run and people all over the globe play tekken online. in the days of couch or arcade versus they could count on onetime sales but they aint gonna just run servers for free now they need other options especially with the constant march of tech making visuals and sound even harder to implement, hence why tekken 7 was missing a lot of characters initially

Memories... 1. "Dude I just unlocked a little dinosaur that farts on people". 2. Tekken Force mode was kind of cool change of pace. A side scrolling beat'em up with Tekken characters. 3. That ball game was pretty interesting. 4. Unlocking Dr. Boskonovich was kind of an pain. If I remember correctly you can only unlock him if you beat him in Tekken Force mode at the very end.

Man what a graphical revolution this game used to be. So defining for the time of the playstation one. Miss the old days where we had simpler games but maximized fun. Today you just get crazy about who has the best specs...

Fun fact: the second hit of Eddy Gordo’s unblockable can actually be blocked as confirmed by the game’s training mode data, it’s just that there’s not enough recovery from the first to where you’d notice

i love how two same characters in a fight will have different attires. unlike other fighting games that just change the char's color scheme.

Watched this purely for the nostalgia. Thank you for the trip down memory lane.

It's funny that very few people knew how to break Dr. B's unblockable. The only way was to ki charge to break the electric shocks

Look at the little paw pads 🐾 on King's shoes.

There's a few you might have missed.... Kuma's b+1+2, the moment it hits do a 360 and he will do a roll that makes it do a lot more damage. Nina ALSO has the Bad Spray move (don't recall the command), similar to Yoshimitsu. Speaking of Yoshi, d/b+1, D/B, hold it until his sword sparks and immediately time the release. It'll do max damage.

Kuma's roll can be blocked But yeah he forgot bf+2+3 for kuma Nina's and Yoshi's bad breaths Yoshi's sword hold kills instantly if it's done at the time of spark ✨

tekken 3 is the first video game i ever play back when i was just a little kid, this video brong back so many memories

Back when i was a kid and played tekken 2 and 3 for the first time with 6 years old i called them power attacks and i regret nothing.

Playing this when i was a kid is so fun hitting any button is so fun and still win against friends lol.

Fun fact: Tiger Jackson was actually the original name and design for Eddy Gordo and they weren't going to include it in the game but decided to keep it for laughs. His original name was Soul Jackson.

Unlocking Dr.Boskonowitch was pain in the ass

Good old times when you were rewarded with new characters and stages by being good at game not by having lot of money and giving it to greedy devs.

The memories. Just out of high school. The squad destroying each other on the PlayStation. Great times 😄

Used to try every moves in the same day. Just clicking those buttons till they're burning

Used to dominate many different friend’s entire teams with a few of these combos with Yoshi as my first character for the sweep.. lol

i experimented with heihachi's unblockable, and if you connect a twin pistons and immediately start the unblockable, so far i've had 100% success rate. lei is my main, and it's difficult to connect the unblockable. i do a 3, and if i hit immediately start it, but it's still a gamble.

They can't be blocked, but can be counter with a perfect timing of impact.

Yoshimitsu was fun as hell

Not really all of them, you missed: - Bryan's taunt - King's frankensteiner (it's an attack which goes into a throw) - King's charged jumping attack (smilar to the first Ogre attack on this video) - Nina's bad breath attack (I think Anna has it as well) - I believe there were more Dr. B unblockable moves Quite a lot missing considering that I haven't played this game for years now.

I remember unlocking the little dragon for the first time 😂 and then bosconovich good times in TK3 😂

the time characters had op counter mobes by just hitting b+1+2 or 3+4. Paul, Law, Nina and Jin had op parries iirc.

Did you know that gon is from a TV show and that they put gon in tekken 3 as to sort of promote the show. That's why you don't see him in any other tekken game because Namco doesn't own the character

They never gave off the "spark" special effect to indicate they are unblockable making them hard to read. So if King did a moonsault, you naturally would just stand there and try to block it only to be caught by surprise. It was done to purposefully let you get caught off guard as you never knew which of his moves were the devastating unblockable.
