For the first time, the Tehran International Book Fair was held in November 1366 in the permanent place of Tehran exhibitions, with the aim of promoting book culture and reading, and until the mid-1980s, it hosted enthusiasts in this place.
But later it was transferred to Imam's mosque and after that, except for 2 times which was held in Aftab Shahr exhibition, mosque is known as the venue of Tehran book exhibition.
Every year, many enthusiasts in the country and even other countries go to Tehran International Book Fair to visit and buy books.
The 35th Tehran International Book Fair started on the 19th of May and continued until the 29th of May.
