I'm an Active duty member in the Canadian Forces an I know that this song keeps me sane on tours.. and makes me remember what I have waiting for me at home! I have always loved Tegan and Sara and always will! they are 2 of the most amazing people I know!

its funny to me how their 'unreleased' songs or say even 'bonus tracks' have been some of the better ones. i suppose it makes no difference at all, im just glad to be able to hear them regardless. makes me wonder though, what they've withheld or decided to forgo entirely. be that as it may, this song almost always makes me cry. its a safe bet/gaurentee kind of thing.

She didn't necessarily write it at that time.. She could have wrote it for her first love when she was younger. A lot of songs aren't released until later, or even finished being written for like a decade. It was definitely for someone though, you can tell that in the way she sings it. Or it was about someone she once loved... I could see that too. That's a little more depressing though
